Isn't the fact that they are confirming that the game is in development in this way a bit surprising? They don't seem to be about to unveil a trailer or more information soon. "as soon as we are ready" seems more distant than "in a few weeks or so"

Spring 2023: First Trailer

Early 2024: 2nd trailer with release date of Oct 2024 

October 2024: Rockstar gives out their usual GTA delay, new date Spring 2025 

Spring 2025: Their usual second delay, “Sorry guys, we really want a good bug free game blah blah blah, release date October 2025” 

Finally October 2025 arrives and game is out

the biggest reason the game will come in 2025 after delays is cuz of the chip shortage and the ps5 shortage which will definitely affect the sales if it were to release in 2024 .

I personally think the PS5 / Series X player Base will start really increase by next year
