aaronBLUEeyes Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 Earlier this evening I was in a Posse with my sister, we just finished hunting for her trader role and dropped materials off to Cripps. A 6 person posse road directly at our camp. One of their posse members lassoed me on horseback than dragged me out of the camp and used a dynamite arrow to kill me. How the heck did they do that!? As we saw them riding towards the camp, I checked to see the camp flag was raised — they should not have been able to lasso me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In recent months after major Posse firefights, I’ve either road back to camp or used wilderness camp to fast travel only to find the posse tracked my camp down too. And they would shoot at me, try to lasso me, etc and I just crafted stew or made bullets etc whilst they raged because the couldn’t kill me. LooseCanon Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 As far as I’m aware with your pocket camp as long as you hit fast travel as soon as possible they cannot touch you, I’ve no idea about the stew etc, but if you’re just standing around they can lasso you, I usually just use cripps wilderness thing whatever it’s called when I’m afk for a bit. eighthdoctor Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 I think griefers can lasso you out of your own camp, even when the flag is up (which then renders the little message about being protected from other players when your camp flag is up absolutely useless ) only with the reinforced lasso. I had one assh*le actually lasso me right out of and through my own damn camp tent; it was the white netted tent which I think comes with the Collector camp theme and my character got pulled through the netting. You can also be shot at using a rifle too from a distance. Wtf's the point of the camp flag 'protecting' you because it doesn't when griefers have the right kind of weapon to get around it?! LooseCanon Posted February 5 Share Posted February 5 (edited) If you open your wilderness camp and hit fast travel straight away they cannot touch you, even if you just stay there on the list of places to travel to. the wilderness thing I was referring to is where you go in camp to change camp theme etc, it’s called wilderness something I think you can be shot in camp with the flag raised if the other player backs away until your camp disappears for them just leaving you visible, I have used that on players that run out of their camp to kill you then run back and use laughing emotes or whatever, comes in handy then Edited February 5 by LooseCanon Spelling Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
