And here I though Bell had the worst customer service in the world. greedstar is making a pretty hard charge to take over that title.

I haven't uninstalled the game yet, but it's looking like an inevitability at this point.

How true it is for most of us, though the different locales are a lot more different than you bozos expect.

Not unexpected.  This is a pretty bleak time for R* games.

To lead with that statement in the article is telling, and it's essentially a very inoffensive way to say that there's no updates coming anytime soon. You'd think they'd tease an update if they had one given the community/media criticism lately, but nope, they basically just say "in the coming months expect more bonuses on stuff like always". They've never done that before AFAIK, especially not as the start of the Newswire article.

 

So either they put the game on the backburner because A) low priority and other big stuff in the works (GTAO, GTA VI, whatever) or B) building a massive update or it's C) R* have stopped developing new content for R*. I'm taking it as confirmation R* have moved on and have ended RDO's support.

 

What a shame.

Well I am excited for the new Dying Light, and have actually had a ton of fun going back to my fav Gears or War 3 playing the Horde and Beast maps online.

Haven't logged into any R* game for over a month now, don't see it being a habit anymore.

3 years ago when I started this game I had very little hope for the future of this game. If someone back then told me what's going on right now I would have believed them 100%.

 

Such a shame, because the potential is massive.

I did mention that my rdodailies.com discord server gets the news as soon as it's updates (as well as any patches that ever get released) however there was a bug and it wasn't noticed due to these monthly updates instead of weekly... So it should have posted this on Tuesday....

However, you can now be safe to join the server and follow the rdo-news channel, there is also a Free Mode Events weekly list for when they get changed as well as the rest I always do heh!

There will also be more feature to come due it being unlikely that the RDO Compendium will ever return, so I will be adding the most common features to the RDO Dailly Challenges Discord server... which probably should have a name change as it's actually now has more content than just the Daily Challenges lol....
