Something stole my car and tried to blow me up

i decided to take a green sabre up mt chiliad to investigate some myths, falling black dots (see if theyre in the new skybox) and bigfoot, when i got there i parked the sabre facing north towards SF, i looked around and didnt see much, nothing seemed werid about the vehicles that spawn up there (although at the bottom a motorbike spanwed sliding down the road) but when i went to find the green sabre it was gone, thought id misplaced it but i remembered parking it facing toward SF, the weirdest part is that while i was looking for it, i heard 3 or 4 loud bangs that caused the controller to vibrate, i panned the camera around and saw black smoke rising from the summit of the mountain, did bigfoot steal my car and attempt to blow me up? or is this part of the goverment agent myth? yes the sabre was gone forever, had to load from a save file.

Your car likely despawned, or maybe you did genuinely lose it. As for the bangs, it's very common for planes to spawn and fly right into the side of the mountain when you're up at that altitude. Call it bad coding. Nothing mysterious unfortunately.
