Gta IV lagging Severely in interiors

Recently I bought a laptop with an intel i3 1115g4, intel UHD(128 mb dedicated vram) and 8 gb of ram.

I looked up the recommended system requirements for gta iv and my laptop met them all, but when I booted up my game , the cutscene ran 5-8 fps.

Whenever I'm outdoors the fps skyrockets, but in interior it runs like 10-15 fps.

I tried adjusting the graphics and even set everything to low, but the fps didn't budge.

I Don't really know what to do, so if any of you have any tips, please help.

But gta 4 is poorly optimized on PCs that's why is difficult to run

Intel HD/UHD iGPUs on Gen9 and above are OK. Gen11 looks pretty adequate

Nice but the op is talking about interior lag

Yes but this has nothing to do with his iGPU being "not enough" as this game usually has much greater fps indoors. The issue looks like overheating and throttling. Maybe using FusionFix to cap fps and monitoring GPU & CPU clocks and temperatures would help to narrow it down.

Unfortunately it's a terrible pc port. This is why so many are hoping Rockstar makes a remaster of it one day.
