Zello
I want a GTA in the 90s back when it was the murder capital. The mayor was on crack and Bill was banging Monica. https://stockx.com/news/history-of-the-new-balance-990-and-washington-d-c-community-shifters/ Quote As drug dealers from the trade pocketed huge profits, they spent their fortune on developing their own sense of style. Some places had a taste for flashier clothing, like New York City, and their affinity for custom Gucci pieces from local Harlem designer Dapper Dan. But in D.C., gangsters went for a more subtle approach. To stay as under the radar as possible from law enforcement, dealers from D.C. wore neutral colors top to bottom. Logos from high-end brands like Hugo Boss, Versace, and Giorgio Armani would be donned on black tees and pants. And the shoes to accompany them were the New Balance 990s. In an interview with Sneaker Freaker, Curtis ‘Curtbone’ Chambers, a D.C. native who was a member of the violent Rayful Edmond gang from the 1980s, spoke about the gang’s love for the 990 sneaker. “Back in our time, we liked the blacks and greys. So with the New Balance being the greys, it went with everything we was doing,” says Chambers. “We’ve always been into designers, but we weren’t into the loud colours…New Balance fit that also – it was our code”. The sneaker fit into the low-key demeanor that D.C. hustlers were looking for; the most expensive shoe to date that was a basic color and comfortable to wear while standing long hours on the street. String
I want to see DC/Capital City too, will be interesting to explore a historic city that isn't NYC/LA/Miami, and exploring the capital of big daddy America will be fun. I don't think it's crime rate or lack thereof matters, they had a heist based story in LA they can go wild with any idea for Capital City. Mister Pink
Naturally, the city that is going to deal all the drugs to those DC f*cks will be Baltimore. GTA VI has to have multiple cities. If DC is in it, then lets have Baltimore. Two sides of the same coin. One has the briefcase, the other has the shotgun We have politics and the war against drugs.. You can get insanely good "trickle-down" politics to Baltimore.. but some drug war story in Baltimore and how it actually goes up to politics would be nice. Seeing how the war on drugs isn't about nabbing drugs dealers, it's about lining the pockets of suits too. Shiiiiit. Washington DC and the corrupt connection between the suits and the streets. Then some mad philosophy from the streets... A mix of intelligent politics from the streets and in Washinton DC. Show how the suits affect the streets and vice versa. Every major city with a drug/gun/crime problem also has a politician/suits/police problem.

Zello
I'd love to see characters based on Wayne Perry and Alpo Martinez. Have a guy from Liberty City come down and run his drug operation but then gets in trouble with the local guys. Starbeth

GhettoJesus
Here's the weird thing about DC in GTA. Would you be able to get into the White House? I’d love for there to be a GTA set in DC, but I’m probably biased because I’m from Alexandria. But if they do make it, there should be a side mission where you shoot people in a parking lot from the trunk of your uncle’s caprice Zello
