GTA Vice City Chronological Mission Order

So I figured I'd make a chronological mission list for this game now that I've been replaying it. I've noticed that there's a lot of freedom to be had in terms of what to do so for those that are looking for an immersive or "proper" order of playing then maybe this will help. Just know that this is merely my own personal way of playing the game so it's totally okay if anyone disagrees with the order, feel free to post a list of your own if you'd like. In addition to mission order I've also added what outfit I had Tommy wear for each mission, this is purely for aesthetic and preference and has no effect whatsoever on the missions itself. I tried to include the most relevant side missions into the order as well, but the rest that I didn't include should ideally be done in between missions or even after the story.

Abbreviations:

V = Tommy Vercetti

L = Ken Rosenberg (Lawyer)

B = Mr. Black (Payphone)

A = Avery Carrington

C = Colonel Juan Garcia Cortez

D = Ricardo Diaz

K = Kent Paul

U = Umberto Robina (Cubans)

H = Auntie Poulet (Haitians)

LF = Love Fist

M = Mitch Baker (Bikers)

VSR = Vice Street Racer

KC = Doris (Kaufman Cabs)

S = Steve Scott (Studio)

E = Earnest Kelly (Printworks)

P = Phil Cassidy

-----------------------------------

Act I: "You are not in Liberty now. Here, we do things differently."

[V] In The Beginning...
[V] An Old Friend

[L] The Party (Changes into Soiree outfit)
[L] Back Alley Brawl (Soiree)
*Tommy gets an introduction to Vice City and it's good and bad sides. Both missions take place consecutively after eachother, starting during the day and then ending at night. Most missions that take place on the same day will follow this structure.

[L] Jury Fury (Street, Tommy really likes that shirt)
[B] Road Kill
*Go to the payphone right after dealing with Giorgio's court buddies, as Tommy is looking for leads and this might be one.

[A] Riot (Street, Coveralls is worn over it)
[C] Treacherous Swine (Street/Soiree)
*After working for Avery, change your clothes and go see Cortez immediately as finding out who ambushed the deal is number 1 priority.

[A] Four Iron (Automatically begins in Street regardless of what clothing you're wearing)
Pizza Boy (Casual, change after obtaining the Country Club Outfit)
*Since the last one mysteriously died due to an unknown accident, Well Stacked Pizza Co. is hiring for a new nightshift delivery boy. In need of money  and finally with some free time after paying a visit to Leaf Links, Tommy decides to apply. If timing serves well, 'Pizza Boy' should be completed by the following morning. This early side mission works as a good introduction to drive-bys and gives a nice health boost as the next missions begin to kick up in difficulty.

[C] Mall Shootout (Street/Soiree)
*Make sure to purchase an Uzi from Ammu-nation. Mr. Black calls again for more work but can be postponed to the next day if you don't answer his cellphone call immediately.

[A] Demolition Man (Coveralls)
[B] Waste the Wife

[C] Guardian Angels (Soiree, makes for a good first impression with Diaz and fits well with Lance and his classy suit)

[D] The Chase (Street)
[D] Phnom Penh '86
*These missions seem be on the same day as if Tommy returns to Diaz to inform him of the location of the Sharks' hideout and then immediately proceeds to attack it.

[D] The Fastest Boat (Red Tracksuit)

[B] Autocide
*Tommy spends the next day doing a multi-hit contract while Diaz gets the boat ready.

[D] Supply and Demand (Soiree)
*Afterwards, head Downtown and pick up your new outfit

[C] Sir, Yes, Sir! (Black Tracksuit)
[K] Death Row

[C] All Hands on Deck (Soiree)
[D] Rub Out
*Make sure to have a Python equipped to kill Diaz with, Tommy has one in the cutscene

Act II"Nothing brings down real estate prices quicker than a good ol' fashioned gang war!"

[V] Shakedown (Soiree)
[B] Check Out at the Check In

[A] Two Bit Hit (Street, changes into Havana)

[U] Stunt Boat Challenge (Soiree, Tommy's all dressed up like a pretty woman now that he's rich)

[U] Cannon Fodder (Havana)

[H] Juju Scramble (Casual)
[H] Bombs Away!
*Uh-oh, looks like Tommy has fallen under Auntie Poulet's spell. Spend the night doing her bidding and interrupting the Cubans' deal come sunrise.

[U] Naval Engagement (Havana)

[H] Dirty Lickin's (Casual)

[V] Bar Brawl (Soiree)

-----------------------------------

Act III: "Look, you pompous asshole, I own you now. I own all of this. We're gonna turn this place around... I'm gonna make you rich."

Checkpoint Charlie
*Purchase the boatyard and begin picking up product.

(This is a large chapter which mainly consists of Asset missions. Can be done in any way in any order but this is how I did it so as to follow a cohesive chronological order.)

this is great 👍 it’d be pretty cool if you did something like this for III and San Andreas too 😁😁😁 (like with side missions in order as well)
