how do i seperate 2 different textures for my dff model?

im trying to make it so that i have 2 textures, 1 for the hood, and then a texture for the rest,

as u can see here i have excluded all polygons for the hood,

 

but yet when i render uv template, look what happens when i apply the texture...

why the f*ck is it still applying a texture for the hood when i excluded the hood polygons????? this is driving me f*cking crazy, does anyone know? i been trying

to get it right all day

i do that but every fkn time i try it, i add 2 different textures, but every time it always merges the hood and the front, no idea why, maybe its because on projection mapping i dont move the camera box thing, i leave it at the bottom... maybe thats why?

 

i found something called assign material selection, i think thats the setting i need, but not sure how it works, when i dragg the image onto my selection, then i press "assign material to selection" it disappears

i found out the reason, its because cj clothes is not allowed more than 1 image, the texture must be only in 1 image, what i need is to make "clusters" to assign different clothes parts to the image, for example:

 

 maccer.png

 

but i dont know how to do that, there is no tutorials on youtube, hey, if you know how to make these "clusters" can you make a tutorial for us please sir? :)

right, i forgot, i got bugs when i had textures with other size than the default one

of course for bodyparts only

 

though i had 2 materials for my shorts

 

Assigne material:

Editable mesh must be active

select face mode and select all these faces of this part of the mesh that you need

choose material from modifier list at right side

set number of material (look in material editor for the right number)

when set, then convert mesh to editable mesh

Attention: now keep the selected faces to make UV mapping

thanks, i actually figured out how to uv map perfectly,  but it still crashing, i think its because i put the image in 1080p instead of original texture, it also has hands bodypart included, so this is probably why, thanks, i will try to use default size later... :)

I just can't figure it out and I can't ask the author cause he died 😔😢

use img editor and search for a ped, for example bmypro, then replace it with the "johnny dff"   and same for the txd file, also u might need to change johnny dff to a name of a ped because i dont think there is a johnny in the original game

 

if u still cant figure out let me know and il make u a youtube vid to show u

yas   . great success! 

 

 

i almost got it perfect, except the body moved when exporting for some reason so the hands texture f*cked up, i guess i can jus edit the uv though,
