Money stats on R* Social Club

I was just wondering, does making a new character and not letting the game carry my level over to a new character reset the money earned and spent stats? if not, is there a way to reset that?

Everybody has spent more money than they earned, it's a normal thing so why even think about it?

 

Afaik if you create a new char it doesn't help, because they share the same bank account. You would have to buy a new copy of the game, and create a new social club account.

It was from way back when the game was still new and modders could drop money fromm your head. But it was only 10 mil. 
 

i was actually thinking of deleting the character i have now and create a new one. Would that work if i tried?

Just ignore the stats is my advice, nobody gives a damn that some modder dropped money on you, you are not less legit because of that. Everybody with an older profile recieved some money back then.

 

I honestly got no idea if it would help deleting the character, i mean how should i know, i never deleted my char, so i can't know.

 

Somebody many years ago, dropped 13 million on me, and i don't care that it's in my stats, it counts as "picked up" money.

 

You can also just set your profile to private, this way nobody knows. Privacy isn't something that makes anybody look like a cheater. This just means ppl want their privacy, in the "information age" we live in, ppl should respect ppl's privacy, period.

Then I am the exception to the rule. Truth be told, this was me pre-Cayo, but post-Cayo the numbers reversed themselves and I have made 51m according to Social Club while spending 39m. Yeah, that's a far cry from Gridlok's billions haha, but there ya go. Of course I don't think these figures include money like log-in bonuses (which is why most players have higher spent totals than made totals), so the gap is actually probably even bigger.

 

I should add that even though I've made more than I've spent (20m cash on hand at the mo) that could change at any time if I decide to just blow it all on supercars, hookers and blow.

Hi, no. You also keep your money. R* support can't/won't do it either, something to do with your gamekey tied to the SC account they can't/won't reset. I insisted I didn't care about the loss of millions, but they couldn't help. Didn't want to do it just for earned/spent stats, they were completely out of balance as well even without money drops. I just like to restart my games from time to time but it's not the same when money and stats remain. Therefore I was quite happy with the epic games free giveaway.
