I may be wrong but red houses also mean businesses that cannot yet be bought. There are some assets that can only be bought after completing certain missions that aren't required to complete the story, like Zero's RC shop and the RS Haul trucking firm. Rhoda Posted January 15 Share Posted January 15 I assumed he had finished the story going off what he said, but this is also true, however you don't "buy" the RS Haul trucking business, that's automatically unlocked following the Catalina tanker robbery. But Mods aren't working. I actually need the original installation files. Because this is V1.01 that I am running, The Apple Store no longer has this game available. I have used the save game editors. I've edited Driving School, and Learning to fly. I did get a call from Woozie, but that was after I bought Verdant Meadows. I don't even know how to dupe or OMO. The only cheats I've used were as listed. I don't know if it's possible to install on Mac but if you downloaded the files all you need to do is copying these files to game directory (C:Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas) if you need an installation file you may try "Steam" and "Downgrade" the game..try not to edit your save file with mods/scripts and editors too much.. and off course stay away from cheats.. cheats may affect the whole progress.. Did you check the map after Woozie's call? And the last question.. Do you need my save file? I may just start a new file if I can't figure this out. It's not really a big deal at all if I can't fix it. However, the reason I asked about this fix was because I needed a safe house closer to Millie for the Mission "Breaking The Bank At Caligula's". Problems with properties being unavailable for purchase in SF or LV is usually caused by a mod, mission passer, editor or trainer that changes the Cities Unlocked stat to remove the restricted areas early. This is a save related issue. SilentPatch can't fix it and won't prevent it. SilentPatch can't fix zone glitches or move Madd Dogg's disk either. SP will prevent the zone glitches if installed. SP will move the disk only on new games created while it's installed. GTASnP can fix zone glitches and move the disk. You can try this script to see if it fixes the problem for you. Another thing to check, btw, is whether or not all clothing stores are open and have an icon. It will only work on main.scm scripts it can identify as v1 or v2. I wrote this script for another player a while ago. It worked for him; if you are lucky it'll work for you too. (Link) OpenFix.cs - install to your cleo folder, type "OPENFIX" to trigger the repair. Something to try first, if you used an editor to complete Learning to Fly then complete the last lesson again. That part of the editor has always been flaky. I think there are notes on this in the editor. Figures. Max wanted level 0. Fast Reload. You had some fun with that editor. It's not surprising that something broke. I had a weird feeling that it was something to do with learning to fly. Cuz I got the call from Woozie after I bought the airstrip. I don’t know at witch point the houses were supposed to turn green. Hell, I thought with all these advanced editors, we could just skip missions Like you can in newer Rockstar Games. I guess I was wrong for trying to skip learning to fly. OrionSR Posted January 17 Share Posted January 17 After taking a closer look at your save and v3.2 from the original author of the Savegame Editor, I'm pretty sure that editing the schools didn't cause this problem. For starters, Paul has us locked out of editing anything we shouldn't in this version. Either I'm remembering it wrong (likely), or v2 was a bit more dangerous so he fixed it. Besides, your save has all the marking of having had city level 3 or 4 unlocked a little too soon, but during the SF strand or those houses would have been glitched too. That script I posted should fix the problem with the houses being unavailable for purchase in LV, and unlock any missing clothing stores in the process. Not sure how you'll run the script on Mac though. I've got a you broke it, you fix it policy for saves busted with mods. You're supposed to suffer miserably when you break your save - you know, lessons learned and all.
