Okay, I finally got GTA III working on my brand new laptop (lol again!) but now I am getting a GInput error after copying both GInput.asi and GInput.ini to the root directory. See screenshot below. Thanks, Ash! Listen I have another question and I'm not sure if it's GInput related or not. I can't seem top auto-target anymore. The only mods I have installed now are GIinput, Silent Patch, and Front End. I'm not sure what mod is disabling my auto-targeting, and I am afraid to mess with it as I FINALLY got GTA III running, and I want to be very careful what I remove or tweak, since Windows 11 and OG GTA III don't seem to get along very well. I would also assume that the same problem exists in VC and SA, as I installed these mods in those games, as well. I can do free aim in GTAIV and V no problem, but for some reason, my aging brain seems to only be able to play OG 3D era GTA games with the auto-targeting. Out of the mods listed I'm not sure what frontend does, but auto-target still works fine with GInput and SilentPatch installed. Though remember GTA3 was weird so a good chunk of weapons don't have auto-target, only the pistol, shotguns and Micro-SMGS do, everything else goes into first person aiming. Hmmm okay, so I am guessing it's Front End that is doing in my auto target. I need to investigate this. Oh, and I am playing the OG Trilogy, not the Defective Edition. Thanks for your help brother!
