A Hustler and his Connect

I believe one of the best concepts for the next GTA is a hustler from the ghetto of America and his Cocaine connect from South America's playable storyline that lasts over a few decades and spans across multiple cities. The hustler's projects (ghetto) will be one of the 2 main settings of the story as you become a legendary drug dealer in the neighborhood and earn respect but you'll see the impact of the war on drugs in the community over time. The other setting will be a Narco-state in South America where the other main protagonist will work his way up a cartel and eventually transform his slum into a well developed vacation destination where the worlds wealthiest people can launder money. This setting will eventually be used for future expansions due to the fact it will be the nucleus for the elite of the GTA underworld. You can do more adventurous missions in a Narco-state. Imagine working for a private military company (pmc), participating in a coup d'etat while working with a federal U.S agency, blowing up planes as a narco terrorist, or even installing your own puppet president. The possibilities are endless. The 2 main protagonists will be legends in the making who by fate meet each other at the right time to form a mutually beneficial relationship and be able to rely on each other even during times when they are not in the same country. The game will have a built in underworld economy where billions will be made from cocaine trafficking. Imagine playing GTA as an even more interesting version of Pablo Escobar and Big Meech at the same time!

 

 

 

Edit: And if everyone wants to keep 3 main characters there could be another protagonist. A Cuban from Vice City who plays middle man between the hustler and the connect. He'll bridge the gap between cultures. He can be a part of building the Vice City skyline off of cocaine similar to Cocaine Cowboys. 3 major locations changing overtime and laying the foundation for a multiple city GTA Online experience.

That'd be awesome. I'd love to have a protagonist like Big Meech. Also the connect relationship kind of reminds me of The Greeks from the Wire or Ghost's relationship with all of his drug connects in Power. The two protagonists could get along or be suspicious of each other like when a cocaine shipment goes missing or the cartel protagonist is involved in a war with a rival cartel overseas and his problems become our problems and we are dragged into his mess too.
