Cayo perico cutscene glitch

I want to buy the submarine so I have tried to start the cutscene in the music area behind the casino. However I cant get the cutscene to activate. I even bought a penthouse for 1.5m because I thought thatd fix it as he is in the VIP area. Could really use the help

This is going by memory, but you have to buy the sub first and then wait for Madrazzo to call you, because you have to meet him, his family and English Dave first for an extended cutscene explaining what the heist is all about.

I am not sure if you described the problem a friend had, but sometimes players will not get a call/ text message, hence no marker in the music locker, which of course means the cutscene that is needed to buy a submarine cannot be triggered.

 

If that is your problem, try going to the villa you are spawned after the cayo perico heist (where the end cutscene plays basically), there should be a marker or something that triggers the call/ text message.
