I'm having issues using the skin changer from GTA SA , help please ??

You mean Skin Selector v 2.1? Hold Tab+Q and scroll down.

Okay now it's working , how do I switch between custom skins now that I'm in it ?? like which button to do custom skins ??

Didn't the mod come with a readme?

 

When the menu is open press space to go to the addon characters menu.

 

To add new characters you must do this (copied from the readme file):

 

Make changes to text files:

in the file -  [Game folder]\data\gta.dat
Find the line, which
begins with: IMG MODELS\CUTSCENE.IMG and
insert after this line: IMG CLEO\skin.img

 

Then you must add a skin to CLEO\skin.img. Tutorial on how to edit img files.

First off , it was borderline impossible for me to find the mod itself with it actually even containing the skin.img file. do you have a link to this other one with the read me in it , if you do you I'd really like to see to see it. it took me a great deal of time just to find the mod itself

Dude , I coud only find two download links and both I have downloaded before. 

 

1. The first didn't even have a skin img file in it 

 

2. The second didn't have the read the read me file 

 

also it appears the original file was deleted off of GTAInside

Also, every single tutorial I saw said to place the img tool file in the skin folder for the skin selector
