You need OpenIV first, then create a new folder called modloader in the game root folder, and create another new folder(you can call it any name), then new vehicles.img in it, put the mod in .img at last. For example: modloader->NewVehicles->vehicles.img->admiral.wft/admiral.wtd
Jackae
If you don't mind me asking - how exactly does audio files work in this? I've tried with .rpf files with the RESIDENT folder; I've tried .rpf files without the RESIDENT folder; and I've tried it within the mod folder itself and still no changes. Everything else I've tried works completely fine, just not audio files.
Chunk Norris
Is it possible to use multiple police and ambulance models if we separate them with a comma?
That driver dude
I'm sorry to bump into a thread as old as this one but I'm trying to use this mod to add the Bravado Greenwood that Zolika made for gta 4, can somebody please teach me how to add it? Because I tried just creating all the folders as instructed in the images and all it does is crashing the game. I'm using the 7.0 patch on gta 4, with GFWL and GFWLM installed. kamikami333
If it was the same modloader as GTA SA, it would be easier to use.

I'm using the 7.0 patch on gta 4, with GFWL and GFWLM installed. 1 - install - https://gtaforums.com/topic/955449-iv-zolikapatch/ 2 - install - https://gtaforums.com/topic/896795-1000-1080-zolika1351s-trainermod-menu-rewritten/ 3 - install - https://gtaforums.com/topic/979531-iv-tweaker-modloader-limit-adjuster-for-gta-iv (put the contents of the archive in the folder with the game). 4 - from the archive with the mod, move 2 folders: "carmods" and "modloader" to the game folder. If all the conditions for installing the above mods are met, then there should be no problems. Everything works great.
Mappening
I'm confused with how exactly this mod loader works. Does it scan inside an archive's/text file's contents and override information specific to that in the game's/other mod's archives? I see in the example screenshot of handling.dat that all lines in that file are commented out except for 1 line, which would presumably crash the game if it replaced the vanilla file. Even though I know playerped.rpf if a special case and that rpf is not a supported file type beyond audio, the game crashes if I try to make a mod that includes playerped but only includes the mod content - I have to make a copy of the vanilla playerped and then include the mod content. I'm also not sure if this mod loader can get content from one mod's archive, and get different content from a mod that touches and archive of the same name.
