What about Temple Drive Families?

So in SA we can see that Families have 3 sets, Seville Boulevard Families, Grove Street Families and Temple Drive Families. Now ofc the main story is based on Grove Street F. With few times mentioning or even killing Seville Boulevard F. in missions. But What about Temple Drive Familie? Sweet mentions them 2 times, and Smoke 1 time. So as we go through Playa Del Seville we can see SBF tags, but around Temple only Temple Drive Ballas, because TDF took their territory and they became inactive in Verona Beach. Also in gang quotes for Families members we can hear GSF members dissing SBF with saying "Seville getting chillied" or in mission Sweet's girl we attack them. But Rockstar didn't gave us any information about Temple Drive Families, atleast in beta version they had tag, now they had nothing but there is mod that give us that tag back.

Most likely that faction was made pretty late in game development, or was simply forgotten.
I would assume they wanted to have Grove with 3 families, as they decided to focus the main story around 3 gangs - Vagos, Ballas and Grove. (Turfs for all other gangs within San Andreas are turned off)

That's fam3 quote also i think the fam 1 is gsf original member while fam2 is from temple drive and fam3 is from sevilhe boulevard same for ballas members aztecas and vagos are fine i think since they have only 1 set.

This tag is fanmade. There is also Temple Drive Ballas in the game. Never mentioned but they got a tag to respray. That TDB thing appears as a set turf after the Green Sabre mission. Also reminder: TDB is never mentioned

 

There is a small involvement of the Temple Drive Families in the first mission. When Grove OGs got attacked by the Ballas, CJ asks, "I thought this was Families turf?" and Sweet mentions TDF and informs CJ they dont roll with them. 

So with that info, you can create a scenario in your mind.

Attack happened in Families turf but Temple Drive Families didn't helped them while Groves escaping with bikes. Also Temple Drive Families OGs and Temple Drive Ballas could be an ally. Just like Ryder and Big Smoke with the Ballas. (honorable mention: all fam3's in the Big Smoke's drug courier missions)

I think Kylo Trays Ballas are the ones that occupy the beach area and temple drive families are their enemy neighbors.

That's not really an indicator of how the tag used to look like. The guy made and just edited the "Temple Drive Ballas" tag himself, took the word "Families" from "Seville Boulevard Families" and mashed up the two. It's a mod, not actual proof of beta. There may have not been a Temple Drive Families tag if anything, tbh. Besides, there's like 3-4 Seville Boulevard Families spray tags in the entire game.

Other than that, there wasn't really any display of beef between other Families throughout the game, maybe for like 3 missions and then when you're back in LS there's no mention of it again.

Well if we dig deeper into the story mode we can realize that in the mission ''Reuniting the families'' Sweet meets up with the SBF and the TDF which means that the families have united into one major gang, sadly the meeting was interrupted by the police since Big Smoke snitched on them. So they were united pre-gta sa and then broke up after cj arrived until that mission. 

 

It would have been a nice touch if rockstar made special skins for the SBF and TDF...well they were forgotten halfway through development....

Isn't this just a theory? I think a big gang meeting in a public place will attract police attention even without someone snitching on the prominent members.

Well it isn't directly confirmed in the game that Big Smoke snitched on that meeting but the closest thing we got was Big Smoke saying ''I'm feeling a lil exposed but I'm good'' and drives off as soon as the cops breached into the motel. 

In addition to that when he comes to ''save'' CJ and Sweet he tries his best to get CJ killed while driving recklessly and driving through the car wash services to get soap in CJ's eyes. He also drives the same route 2 different times to get CJ killed and finally throws the car through the Sprunk billboard but he was unlucky and failed to Kill Cj and Sweet.

I never looked at it that way but it seems possible. Though I believe that if Sweet and CJ were really meant to be dealt with then Smoke wouldn't have come back for them in the first place. Evidently them being in jail is just as good for Tenpenny.

Makes sense, but you gotta put in mind that Ryder wasn't meant to betray the GSF (His voice actor quitted due to financial reasons so Rockstar made Ryder an antagonist so they can have a reason to kill him off)) so it does make sense if Ryder told smoke to go back and pick up CJ and Sweet especially that Ryder gave CJ an AK47 to shoot the cops.

This is beta stuff rockstar probably wanted to make ballas extremely powerful but they changed their ideas at the last minute, this was one of the biggest challenges they had and they did this in 2 years...

sweet and CJ talk about the temple drive families sometimes but they don't got beef with them so they don't kill them
