Stuck on 'get a vehicle.'

I'm very new to GTA V Online and am playing on PC. I went to Los Santos Customs and got my membership, and now I have no idea what to do next. There is a constant 'get a vehicle' reminder; I've stolen dozens of vehicles, but they won't accept any of them. How am I supposed to get around this? I've looked at tutorials but they've been absolutely no help. Thank you.

You need a garage or any property with garage first.

Thank you! But I tried to purchase a cheap garage and got the message 'you have to be Rank 5 first.' I can't seem to do anything in this game.

This was bugged before... it's even included in the patch notes, but I guess it persists. Unfortunately I don't know a solution. Maybe you could try to restart, enter an invite-only session and wait until you get the prompt. There's lots of bugs in public session right now.

Are you mixing up Los Santos Car Meet and Los Santos Customs? Because you only have to bring your stolen car to Los Santos Customs to customize it and own it.

I don't think you need a garage at the beginning, you just have to put free mods, free tracker and free insurance on a stolen car to pass this "mission".

Make sure the vehicles you pick are cheap. Anything $100k value and above will get denied.
