Double money on Nightlife Leak Finale!! Oh my god, that's awesome! That means it'll pay... still f*ck-all.

 

Seriously, go f*ck yourself, Rockstar. VIP Contract has some of the worst payouts in the game. You'd have to quadruple it before it was worth doing. 

 

As far as doubling Spec+ Sec Contracts, that would be great if it came up more than once every 600 years. Plus, I've got my 201 done now, so the only thing that will make me do them again is adding more variants. If I never see the inside of Tequi-la-la again it'll be too soon. 

 

Special shoutout to the piecemeal doubles, rather than across-the-board, tho - cuz I'm totally gonna grind thru the entire VIP Contract just to get an extra 8 grand from one of the finales... 

 

Blah blah adversary modes, yawn, LSCM is dead, yet another unpopular car on the podium. Talk about giving us nothing...

Poor week, especially thanks to the crappy muted interior color mess they made of the Cabrio. White is white, it's not dull beige grey FFS. Way to ruin a lovely car and make me hate it for all of time rather than buying 3 of them. My toon is a playboy, not a balding insurance broker with a little dick. It needs to be painted white.

 

AFK to the lvl 700 Redwood jacket is my week.

 

Maybe LSCM wouldn't be dead with some triple speed RP.

Based on the fury expressed by some people against Rockstar, which I understand as frustration, but also as deep-seated disrespect from people who endlessly play their games, I'm assuming we're now in the drip-feeding doldrums until E&E comes out.

 

The Agency update was fun, but it can't go on forever. 2X payouts on specialist+ security contracts ONLY is a troll move, so thanks, Rockstar, but it's now time to get back to work and sort out the bugs.

Just seems like a return to the more "normal" bonuses, really, given last week we had a full on 1.5x on all security contracts AND payphone missions, which was way more money than usual for a bonus week considering base payouts.

It's still a bit weird though. I guess we have to respect how wily Rockstar marketing has become over recent years; the specialist+ contracts appear very rarely, so this seems a way of getting less grindy players to log in to their agency computers.

As I still need to complete twenty something Security Contracts to earn the platinum award and it's bonus, I'll take advantage of the double money if any specialist plus contracts are available. And lo & behold, the two hundred thousand dollar bonus from last week's event just dropped into my character's account.

I think they're punishing those of us who keep asking for a clean, narrow body, Comet Classic.  They're committed to adding every single Porsche, in all it's variants, before they add a clean Comet Classic to the game.  Which will probably be the week before GTA 6 drops, and it will be the only car not to transfer over.  lol

In another thread Tez2 said that it first picks a random mission, then it picks a random rarity. Only 2 of the missions can be Specialist+ (Recover Valuables & Recover Vehicle). There is a 20% chance of one of those missions being Specialist+. The math works out that you have a 6.66% chance of a Specialist+ mission being on the computer.

 

I replayed the VIP missions. Thank you R* for the double money on the Nightlife Leak finale! I made $16,000 instead of a measly $8,000.  And you all know what this means? The next two weeks will be double money for the other two finales.

Interesting. I think I got like 2 or 3 today after grinding them for a few hours. And, of course, one of them just had to be the Humane Labs one, which I failed. I tried it again, and this time, it was a different one (the one at Davis).

I got that one tonight and used the tank for it (as someone here recommended). It made it much easier. Just park the tank by the exit, pull the Boxville out, jump in the tank and wipe out all three waves of enemies. Then you can have a nice quiet ride back to the Agency.

Re: - Many people being pissed at the S2 liveries. It occurred to me this morning.........apart from the Pfister and S2 liveries, why would they release ANY liveries for it? It's the ultimate road car, who the hell goes racing in a cabriolet IRL? Oh well, it is what it is. I still can't get Duggan's plain white cowboy hat without the camp black band around it, so you've got no chance lol.

Mk2 outside the doors works fine too. You'll lose a body armor on the first 2 Mesas, but after that you can take them from distance from the corner. Added benefit to the Mk2 is........when it doesn't spawn the last 2 Mesas, as it sometimes doesn't, you can fly down the beach and then back again and that will force spawn them.

I want the Rockstar colors sweater yet but still haven't unlocked the studio. It looks like you need to complete the first Short Trip mission. Can you invite a random for this? And if so, will it be unbearable like heists?

You can just be invited by someone else into the studio to get it. I did this yesterday and it worked for them.

Thanks for the heads up. I just have to complete the Don't f*ck With Dre and the first Short Trip missions so I'm pretty close anyway. But I'll definitely keep an eye out for invites as well.
