Does it make sense for Solo players to buy an Office if they already have an Agency?

I was planning on buying an office since they're on sale but having second thoughts because I have no plans to run crates with friends since I play 95% invite only and the Agency is keeping me busy with everything I would need in an office. So I'm just wondering besides running crates and becoming CEO, what other benefits are there for a solo player to have an office? I would buy the one near the beach only for the view lol. I don't want to waste money.

There are other aspects of the CEO office rather than just the crates.  There's also vehicle import/export (which was a core money-making mechanic up until Cayo Perico came out - and offers you some variety in your gameplay) and the special vehicle work - not to mention you can also call your assistant to retrieve an impounded car for you.  There's also the various CEO abilities which can come in useful.

I think your assessment is correct. The office used to be the first thing grinders saved for, but that's no longer necessary, because the Cayo Perico heist is the best active money, and doing the 200 Agency mission is fantastic passive money.

In my opinion Import/Export is fun, but Rockstar broke the export customization with the Tuners update, so I can't recommend that either. Apart from what you already mentioned (crates and CEO, which allows you to spawn vehicles), the office can be expanded with garages, but you won't need these unless/until you collect vehicles.

So I guess the question for you is when there will be a sale on offices in the future. They tend to be relatively frequent.

EDIT: I forgot one more thing, if you were playing Doomsday/Casino heists then doing them as CEO would give your teammates health regeneration. But if you're a pure solo player you can ignore that also.

If you have the money then go for it. The abilities that owning an office and registering as a CEO give you are the best part about being a CEO.

Things like Ghost Organization, Bribe Authorities and being able to spawn a Buzzard instantly next to you are very useful.

Then there's VIP/CEO Work and Challenges which are fun and pay well. The offices are a solid investment for sure, should be one of the first things a player should look into when starting the game.

All of that is available as a VIP, so no Office required.

The main reasons for getting an Office are the Assistant & related abilities, the 100% health regen for crew (as opposed to 75% as a VIP), the absolutely massive 60-car garage, access to Crate Warehouses & Import/Export (both obsolete, of course), access to Special Vehicle Work and getting your Org name to stick. Oh, and calling in a Luxury Heli for $5K, but I wouldn't call that a seling point.

@GeneralDee, I'd do it, especially if it's on sale. There are a few unique features you can't access any other way. If money is tight, go knock out 5 Payphone Hits today & that'll pay for Maze Bank West.

VIP work without an office has a limited time-frame (and requires you to have over a set amount of cash to register as a VIP) before you're unable to do any more for the day.  I should've mentioned that the special vehicle work is also needed to obtain the discounts on several of the vehicles in warstock (having the vehicles then unlocks the VIP-work specific to the vehicle)

Thanks. So CEO will give a solo player more abilities than VIP? Also does becoming a CEO eliminate having to type in an organization name (which we have to do when registering as VIP)? Basically I'm trying to find out what an office will give me that my submarine and Agency don't already. I also own a top tier Casino Penthouse which is my main home. And yeah, certain vehicles I want requires an office but the pay from Agencies is so good, I'm not sure I will use those often.

When you buy the office you set the company name.  Future renames will need to be done via the Dynasty Real Estate Executive page once you have the office.

While it's arguable whether it'll give you more abilities than being a VIP, it has a variety of advantages in the long term - particularly in regards to being able to obtain discounts for some of the fun vehicles out there (Ramp buggy is always lots of fun to play with - and the Phantom Wedge is a great way to do the Longfin prep for Cayo Perico if you're using the boat approach - and let's not forget the panic that occurs in griefers when the Fully Loaded VIP work is triggered - something you can only do with a CEO Office, vehicle import/export warehouse and Ruiner 2000)

They got rid of the limited time frame years ago.

Personaly, i'd say no.

And I speak from experience since my secondary character never owned one and since cayo perico she is just as effective at earning money as my main is. Having an office gives you nothing you dont have already as a VIP. Well atleast I never missed anything.

Crates are pointless imo and Import/Export only gives you a fraction of what cayo can earn you. You would be better off doing payphone hits or autoshop contracts in between cayo heists than import export.

So yeah, unless you want the garagespace yeah that office is pointless. Same for the biker club and its bussinesses.

Well, I pulled the trigger on an office. I didn't buy the living quarters or the gun locker. Spent about 2 million, went in there enjoyed the view and never stepped foot in there again for the rest of the day. The computer is useless since I have to be in a public session to use it. So far the best thing I enjoy is registering as CEO with my organization name. Glad I waited until I had 36 million before doing this. Made that money back up quickly doing Agency work and have a Cayo Heist going in the background. I don't see myself going into that office much if at all in the future. I'm still looking into the options in the interactive menu to see what else I gained. I still feel like I'm missing something.

If you enjoy the view from your office, I bet you purchased Lombank West. Those sunsets with Del Perro Pier and Vespucci Beach as background are beautiful...
Since you are grinding Cayo and Agency, you'll get rich to a point propertiers are collectible items too.
My advice is: take your time and expand and enhance your Office as the crowning jewel of your wealth. If you're not into serious car collecting, the 60 garage slots will be enough to have all your prettiest rides under the same roof. The decoration options on both the office and garages will keep you entertained for months, and a well dressed Assistant is always a nice eye-candy detail.
Just don't buy everything on one go, find a pace that keep you interested and won't hurt your wallet. Always buy on discount.

Own everything, don't choose one over another. Sure, prioritize the order in which you want to get them, but own everything. Then you are part of the game as it was designed, not a spectator.

In my RP, the office is still the center of all businesses.

Its the holding corp, the OG office.

Crates are still a great way to make money if you just add to them over time and wait for a bonus on sales.

Minor but you also get access to the Luxury Helicopter service which me and my friends have used many times as a quick extraction option because unlike the Merryweather one it lands further away meaning it's not instantly peppered with bullets and it can be accessed faster because you don't need to call anyone.

Well you need an office to be able to buy warehouses, to accrue goods for the nightclub, same goes for all the biker businesses that need the clubhouse. It's worth it having permanent passive income IMO. And Bunker is needed to accrue weapons for the nightclub. If you have all these 3 buildings office, mc club and bunker and bought one small warehouse + the cheapest mc businesses your nightclub can accrue all goods.

It's up to 1.68 million passive income, but you have to to sell some coke and meth inbetween wich is a little bit on top of that. You have to manage the workers to get maximum profit, no need to keep the popularity up in the nightclub, that is a waste of time, except you like doing these missions.

Hangar provides that as well.

Ah yeah right, forgotten about the hangar, but hangar's also aren't that cheap, well if i remember correctly.

I can barely remember the last time i used a hangar plane or chopper, Savage as Pegasus chopper is just more useful, well if playing solo, the explosive MG and rockets are just awesome.

Well i think an office is more useful with it's garage, assistant, also useful to just spawn on the helipad with a Savage or whatever. Overall the office is more useful than hangar.

I used hangar aircraft all the time but Rockstar had to patch the glitch that allowed you to spawn them in the street like cars. 😭

Yeah that glitch was nice, just getting a Hunter bam on the street next to you was very useful. They patch stuff like that, but there is still the god damn Godmode, that should have priority over glitches like that.

Without Office no Securoserv vehicles as far as I know. So no Ruiner 2000 and no Wedge.

Basically only spend the money if you need the garage space.  I can't remember when the last time was that I set foot in my office, and free snacks from the agency preclude any other reason to go there because I'm fully effing done grinding I/E.  That took absolutely forever to make enough money for a Buzzard and some of the basic essentials.  Never again.

Edit: @justinlynch3 makes a very good point about the Buzzard spawn.  That's probably worth it to buy [along with the garage space, but the businesses are outdated and not going to net you good money unless you want some variety to your play]

Becoming a CEO is a lot better then being a VIP as CEO lets you keep going indefinitely.     CEO Work like Haulage, Transporter, Headhunter and Sightseer are still good activities to run in-between other missions/businesses, especially when they go on double pay.     So having unlimited access to them is nice.

You also get unlimited access to CEO vehicles like the Buzzard.

So it's not just about crates.

60 garage spots with an Autoshop.   Also Import/Export is still worth it as you can slip in an 80k sale whenever convenient.  🤑

EDIT:  It also comes with an assistant who you can use to get your vehicle out of police impound and also move vehicles around to different garages faster.
