traxxton Posted May 24, 2003 Share Posted May 24, 2003 I want to make a copy of GTA Vice to keep as a back up. I used nero to do a cd copy, but when I click on open (to test out the backup copy) it just searches the cd and doesnt do anything. I tried different types of cdr and it doesnt work. Vicetopia Posted May 25, 2003 Share Posted May 25, 2003 Okay, I've made numerous copies of Vice. Just make a copy of the CD (Clone CD works, I didn't try Nero). Then get a No-CD crack and back it up onto a disk. There's also a way to rig the no-CD version of the .exe file to the install, so you just run the install and it works fine. I downloaded the cd crack from megagames.com and it works without the cd, but now I cant use update patch. Its no big deal though cuz its only for backup use. Thanks for the help!
