Ultimate_CoF_Fan Posted May 24, 2003 Share Posted May 24, 2003 Hey i used to post on these forums a while ago when i had gta3 , now i have vice city im back on a new account but ive been having lil probs, buildings in the distance have wierd lines moving along them but it goes away when your close , it happens on fences and alot of things too see the building in background, the windows arent like windows they have diaganol lines going accros them which move along the windows constantly is this a normal graphics thing or a prob? im using a Geforce 4 TI 4200 , 512mb ram, xp, athlon xp 1600+ 1.40ghz and Dx9 Thank you in advance Davie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
homercles Posted May 24, 2003 Share Posted May 24, 2003 Its called aliasing, this engine (as [email protected] as it is) was meant to be played at low res. Try cranking your res down to 640x480 and see if it goes away. Just a thought. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Disco Stu Posted May 24, 2003 Share Posted May 24, 2003 If you right click on a empty part of the desktop choose Properties> Settings Tab > Advanced Button> Click on the GeForce4 Ti ... tab. On the side window that popups select Performance and Quality. In this section you can slide the Anti-aliasing up to get rid of those lines, albeit performance may suffer ( mine didnt ). Mostly the look of the graphics are due to the engine that Vice City runs on, not the best and bit outdated Imho. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
