DJCHRISRECTOR
NexGen has to mind blowing if rStar wants any real sales. Yes, everyone on this forum will buy it but will anyone else? I remember the midnight launch on ps4 gta5. No one was there. (10people) In my mind GTA is dieing. We need gta6 in the worst way. Probably 2023, a game every 5 years. Crazy, the time between gta5 and gta6 will be the same as Vice City to GTA5
Tycek
No offence, but I don't think even people on this forum will buy GTA 5 again. It's basically the same game that was released on PS3, 8 (!) years ago. People are fed up with lack of new game and Online being pushed into their faces, so they started to lose interest in this game. I've bought GTA V in 2013 for Xbox 360, and then bought one for Xbox One with heavy discount to see what new things were added to the game. I definitely won't spend money again on the same title. And GTA 5 won't be mindblowing for one simple reason, it's old. It was designed and developed with hardware of PS3/Xbox 360 in mind, thus it has limits that were forced by old consoles. Sure You may add better textures, better lighting, new radio station and things that are strictly technical, but You won't change the design of the missions, map, storyline, etc. because these were already made long time ago. GiveMeLiberty78
I agree with @Tycek; I think that there will be fewer returning players for GTA E&E than Rockstar and some others believe. I stopped playing GTA 5 after I completed the underwhelming single player. Since then, GTA 5 has become a micro-transaction-fueled money pit characterised by unrealistic fantasist vehicles, weapons, and gameplay, which in my opinion has completely detracted from what the original GTA franchise was all about. Crazy, the time between gta5 and gta6 will be the same as Vice City to GTA5 The idea is that E&E will cement Five on a sound income-generating trajectory for years to come, even when the hardware eclipses the initial proposition several times over. Just like the "Definitive" Edition, as we all know. Access to next gen kits, available since 2019, won't have made the blindest bit of difference to the creative vision of the next noble Rockstar output. The idea has always been, and still is, this - we give you the vision, you make it happen in the best possible way. Xane_MM

Still not going to be maxed out as the PC version. Been instant-switching characters from day one with a regular SSD on PC, too. It is just higher settings & the instant character switch is because of the nvme drive in the console. Still won't be maxed PC quality imo. 60fps, most likely. Probably still not max ped/car density or highest shadows or distances on props etc. Many think props are removed. When you max out PC version, all those props from trailer one are basically there.
