So I shall kindly move it over there, where hopefully someone will be waiting to provide you with a suitable solution for the problem you are experiencing. Oh, and try not to double post please. Cartoon Corpse Posted October 7, 2003 Share Posted October 7, 2003 (edited) i got mine fixed 2 days ago (YAY!) been working on the same problem for 2 weeks w/tech support! here's how: BTW tech support (nice though) said i had a virus, which may be true, but that's beside the point. though my other games (bf42, postal2) ran fine. they said my drivers were all screwed up (i had just renstalled latest ATI catalyst)...did it again, as well as direct x 9...nothing worked some may not be relevant, but here's what i did. I ran virus checker (avast (free...download.com)..thorough search w/ archive checking enabled)...(took over a day) it found (unrelated gamewise 12 files it couldn't scan...pieces of other 'innocent?' apps).. *edit* i deleted the files. i uninstalled the game. i killed everything but systray, explorer i reinstalled...IT WORKED! had to learn how to get it out of 600x700x16, but got that now to 768x1263 x32...works great gfx great sound great. im loving it! also i kill everything b4 i play(didn't b4) except systray/explore and ati + gamepad procs (might have been why i was stuck in 16 bit) hope this helps, that was frusttrating!!
