It’s the morning after the office Christmas party given as a gift from T2 thanks to the billion pound profit they made in shark cards the previous month. The employee slowly sits up and hears a faint voice in the back of his mind. Random Rockstar developer: S**t guys, it’s December, isn’t that when we usually release an update for RDO? Rockstar: What’s RDO? Rockstar developer: That Wild West game we did a few years back? Rockstar: Did we even do an online component for that? Developer: Yea. Rockstar: Well I’ll be damned. Release 4 event weeks at the same and let’s hope they don’t notice. A wave of relief washes over them after they release Christmas could have been ruined. The end. Eggnog in the saloons, a few NPCs dressed as elves, a satchel that looks like a small version of Santa’s bag, etc... nothing to over the top. What's funny is that, even as a joke, they couldn't even be arsed to do even that. Literally a few changes like changing Beer and Whiskey in bars to "Eggnog" changing a new spawn tables and modelling one item that would take them a day. I have seen the joke going around that R* will announce a PS5/Series X version of RDR2 at The Game Awards and now, a little of me thinks it's not a joke. (No other PVP mode got bonus, Collector and even Naturalist). - Some weeass bonus for a free coat and etc ... - Some focus in discounts for the Bounty Hunter role and role clothes/items. (HAHA ! again). Damn, like people said ... even some newer textures to christmas and there you go ... and they couldn't even be bothered to do it. I like to chill in this game, do some missions, fish, catch some bounties, hunt and there is it ... all those years to see the game to struggle because of the lack of support. While GTA will likely get a new DLC next week, RDR Online struggles once again, lack of support, content for a game which could generate them money like GTA if they were a competent company, they cutted the gold bar login rewards, post-monthly streak and the Bounty hunter gold bars reward per bounty, capitale system is botched, capitale/opportunity "heists" could be better implemented, role expansion same issue. fan-favorite clothing costing 10-20$ for a non-FTP game. - Maybe this was the spit in the face the community needed after all. The event is disrespectful, the lack of new content too. dress like clown ??? ... c'mon why ... aren't we the clowns after all, no need for clothing. - (I think this is a borderline between B'nM topic and the actual topic, so if the mods want to transfer, do it ... but this event ... while it have discounts and "new content", it is not enough for fellow veteran players and even mid-leveled players).
