This may upset some people-buying a bunker

Ok,first off I don't want to fight. You love the Bunker and think it is the best biz in the game? Great. More power to you.

I hate the bunker. Always have.

My bunker came with the Criminal Pak,so I didn't really buy it. It is universally agreed to be the worse location of any property (Paleto Forest). At some point I made a huge mistake and upgraded it (probably a sale). Now with equipment and staff upgrades, I get charged $7,800 per GTA day (48 minutes-lets call it an hour).

The math shows I'll save $$ in about 14 days -because I won't be paying $7,800 in Bunker fees- buy buying the Cumash Bunker which will cost me $900,000. I got my present bunker for "free"-so I won't get a discount for relocation).

My calculations are based on me going AFK for 8 hours while I sleep. I keep my network (no-let me keep simple. I have my network of computers running in parallel,24/7, on a one problem-its Computer Science stuff)--my computer running GTA will be AFK for at least 8 real hours.

I'm ballparking 14 days and I recoup my $900,000 for the Cumash Bunker. And after that, it is all profit because I won't be paying the $7,800 daily fee, because I will not upgrade anything.

So my main question is do the upgrades transfer? (I read they don't-which is what I want). If they do transfer, then I wasted $900,000

Bonus Tip for people that hate the bunker. I threw some paint on the walls because it is half price (upgrade the decor) and it made a huge difference. My God that dreary gray Bunker slammed me down into a pit of depression and despair everytime I walked into it to Research.

Done my research!

Finally!

Yeah!

No, the upgrades don't transfer. You might get a refund for some of the upgrades you had on the previous bunker, and you'll have to do the setup again for the new one. (just stealing the first supply truck)

And yes, Paleto is the worst place for any business, period. Doesn't matter if it was free. Paleto locations are the cheapest for a reason.

Spoiler

Whether you sell remote or local, Paleto is always furthest away from the buyer. Considering you always have to get around or over Mount Chiliad, and there is only one main road in either direction.

You want your businesses as close to the buyer as possible. Assuming you always do remote sales for 50% extra.

For businesses inside the city (MC or nightclub), that means the upper part of the city.

For any business outside the city (MC, bunker) you want the sandy shores area, not Paleto unless you sell local for 50% less.

As for Hangars, get the cheapest one on Zancudo for the access. Makes a lot of sourcing missions easier (gunrunning, casino heist preps, you name it)

Even the Paleto Doomsday Facility is obsolete (I used to recommend it) because the Bogdan glitch has been superseded by the Cayo Perico glitch.

I moved mine to Sandy Shores airfield, accross the road from my Farmhouse bunker. I like the ability to teleport to my bunker. Chumash bunker + Lago Zancudo facility is also a great combo.

As for running a not-upgraded bunker AFK: Don't. Especially if you have a Kosatka. Considering the electricity bill, I would almost recommend buying shark cards instead. (please don't, every shark card purchase delays GTA 6)

Don't AFK 8 hours for bunker stock. The supplies only last 2:20 hours (with full upgrades) The only business that will produce non-stop for 8 hours is the nightclub.

Also don't get more than 25% product in the bunker, and you'll always get a single vehicle to sell.

The most efficient way to run a bunker solo: full upgrades, buy supplies once (turns into 20% product), sell, repeat.

If you don't have the equipment upgrade, don't buy supplies, because your supplies will only make half the product.

You can skip the staff upgrade, all that does is speed up the production. (although your product is worth more with staff upgrade for some reason)

There are some good people on this forum giving great advice, but you are a step above!  You ought to think of making a YouTube channel.

As always, THANKS A LOT!
