Can't aim with right analog stick when using controller on PC

i have a problem where i can't aim my weapon with my right analog stick when i use my controller

 

i can look with the camera just fine, but i can't move the crosshair when i hold L2

 

also, when i get into a vehicle, i lose the ability to control the camera with the right analog stick, until i exit the vehicle

 

any tips? i am using a dualsense controller, with DS4Windows

updating to the latest version of zolika trainer fixed this issue. idk why
