Biscotti96 Posted December 5, 2021 Share Posted December 5, 2021 I’m currently playing through SA on PS2 and have noticed 2 ‘disastrous dates’ in my stats. But I’ve never dated anyone on this save. The original game had a bug where it would sometimes incorrectly transfer over some of your current stats after starting a New Game while actively playing on an older save. I started a New Game once and the 'Stats' menu showed that I had reached 100% progress with all girlfriends – I had done this on a previous save, so thought it was quite strange showing up on my new one... As soon as I unlocked Denise as a girlfriend, the 'Progress Made with Denise' stat reset (from 100% to the default 40% or something like that,) and the same happened when I unlocked Katie & Michelle later on, too. IIRC, the only way to ensure "clean" Stats on a save file is by starting a New Game without loading up an old save first – on PS2, this means starting the game without a Memory Card inserted to avoid the auto-loading feature. I think the dates stat came from receiving a call from Denise then not going to the date, just repeated it on an old save and it happened that way. But now I’m interested in this auto-loading thing... does it only transfer stats into the pause menu or can you sometimes start a new game with a higher bike skill, etc.?
