This is a known bug. We still don't know what might be causing it, but it seens that after you render a lot of different skins (by scrolling through their IDs) the game freezes because -- probably -- those skins aren't getting un-rendered/deleted from the game memory, causing it to crash.

 

The workaround for this would be to select only the skins you know you will need for your missions, instead of having to render a lot of unnecessary skins. This is possible if you have DYOM# Addon installed in your GTA San Andreas.

 

DYOM# is a addon that works both for 8.1 and IX versions of DYOM. It has a lot of time-saving features that helps us by designing our missions faster and with more productivity. With this addon, you can select skin IDs, animations, cars, objective numbers, unlock all the object IDs from the original game, quickly teleport to marker and much more.

 

You will also need to have GTA SA Skin IDs Webpage open. You can use your phone screen if you don't have a windowned mode installed.

Note: Special characters (i.e: big smoke, the truth, ryder, and others) might have a different ID on DYOM.

 

With DYOM# activated, go and add your actor, when it prompts you to select a skin you should press TAB and type a Skin ID number, then press N. Done! Now you have chosen your desired actor skin without having to scroll through many other skins. Still, remember to save your mission regularly.

Dark postponed developement for this... So we don't know when it will resume who knows...

Hello all friends. I'm alright. I don't have time for dyom anymore, so I sent all the Raxo in due time, but he somehow missed the opportunity, so another person wrote to me, who was more hardworking. He understood the code, but I did most of the work before I disappeared. In any case, he corrected something and added his own code and repaired my mistakes. Thanks to everyone for everything, but now it's time to hand over the development to another person. A new update is coming soon, so I'm very excited about it. From now on, development is entirely on Halter.

Greetings to all designers. In this new update, new features and many new animations have been added. I think you'll like it

First of all, I would like to show that now you can just put a certain color in the Cutscene. Previously, it was necessary to contrive through a storm or dark objects, but now you have only one convenient function

The second very important new function is a turret in Vehicle. Now when you create a Vehicle, you can specify that it will be a turret and then your Player with his weapon will attach to it. To remove the attachment and disable the turret, you will need to teleport the Player.

Almost all the remaining animations have also been added. That is, 76 more animations have been added. Have a nice game in the new version, thank you all. You can download the update from the link on the first page.

First, I would like to congratulate you on your dedication to carrying this project forward.

 

I think I owe you an apology for what was said on discord earlier, in the face of so much happening in this community of trolls and people creating alts to deceive others, I think you understand that me and the other discord members were going to be a little suspicious at first.

Since you took over the development, would you consider adding an option for using multiple animations on actors and bring back storylines?

Btw, I wanna turn your attention to a bug regarding the publish mission feature where it doesn't work.

 

It just gives the edited mission file without actually making it a read-only which if you can tell, is a huge issue.

Also this. The first thing you should do before anything is fix the publish feature asap.

Also whenever I set a color for a cutscene, the text doesn't show.

About fade effect I'll see whats the problem. But color is just working like that, there can't be text showing up

+ whenever I pass/complete a mission that involves turret mode, the helpful text box thingy doesn't show up anymore on the top left corner when you place or edit objectives, actors etc

- Laughing by holding stomach with both hands animation.

- Laughing by touching forehead with right hand and touching left hip with left hand and vise versa animations.

- Possibility to patrol around the room for actors.

- Aim + Walk and Aim + Run animations.

- Akimbo pose with both arms animation. 

- Akimbo pose with either arm animation.

- Untouchable (Similar to how Tenpenny's Fire Truck from original GTA SA mission "End of the Line" can't be destroyed nor rammed) option for a vehicle.

- Immovable option for a vehicle.

- Default parked vehicles will not randomly appear throughout San Andreas state if Ped/Vehicle behavior from Special Environment Objective or Settings is set to No Vehicle.

- Ped/Vehicle behavior for Settings feature.

- All three types of actors and random pedestrians will not randomly come over to recently dead enemy actors and will not crouch when a gun is shot.

 

I'm not sure if this has been fixed but, 150 player health bug fixed.

 

I also want time limit feature to return for checkpoint objective.
