Hey Guys. I'm Feeling Quite Nostalgic Today. I Wanna Play GTA 1 And The 1st Mission Pack Which Is GTA London 1969! I Went On The Rockstar Games Website. I Looked For GTA 1. And I Can't Find Any Purchase Button. Guys Are There Any Reasons Why These Games Got Removed?

The last time that Rockstar sold GTA 1 and London 1969 was when they were available on Steam, but they were removed some years ago. GTA 1 and 2 were made available for free on Rockstar's website in 2002, but were removed in 2013. Rockstar never gave any reason for their removal, but in the case of GTA 1, compatibility with modern Windows may be at least part of the reason. Many people report black screens when switching to 32-bit mode on modern hardware (my old laptop did this) and 16-bit mode runs at a really low frame rate on modern hardware.

The best way to experience the games today without an old PC is the GTA max pack. I use the original discs, but that's because I have a PC running Windows 98 with a Voodoo 2, which allows me to run all of them without emulation, whether I want to play the Windows version or one of the DOS versions (they're all on the disc). But for most people the max pack are the best versions.
