indiebob
Have an option in sound settings which allows the player to nominate a second sound device for DMCA music etc. to which all copyrighted sounds which could get a streamer into trouble will be sent. e.g. music on the radio, movie clips etc. The user should be able to either set this as a NULL device, so that DMCA content is muted, or allocate it as any of the sound devices on their system, thus allowing twitch streamers to have sound when streaming the game but automatically removing it from VODs by not sending sound from this device to the appropriate sound channel in OBS. You might have a software sound device called something like RockstarDMCA which would be selected as a default and would be used purely for this purpose. If you wanted to get really trixy you could give users the option to nominate a third sound device as RockstarNonDMCA which would play non-DMCA alternatives to copyrighted material, working in the same way as above. Just an idea.
