Dreakon Posted May 23, 2003 Share Posted May 23, 2003 I have VC for the Playstation 2 and now I have it for PC. I got pretty far in the PS2 one but decided to start over with the PC one. I just completed "Supply and Demand" mission from Diaz and I know that I should get the Death Row mission any time after. But I havent gotten it yet and I am worried . I currently have the "Sir Yes Sir" mission from Cortez available and "Demolition Man" from Avery, both of which I am having trouble with. Are there any required missions to be done to get "Death Row" mission? Do I have to wait longer? What? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

-Donald_Love- Posted May 24, 2003 Share Posted May 24, 2003 sir yes sir is really easy. there's three ways you can do it...i think... 1) easy: park a car in front of the tank, and they'll all get out to try and move your car 2) hard: kill the army guys, n the people in the cars, including the tank, will get out to try and catch you 3) ???: ive never tried this one, but but people say that the whole group stops for donuts somewhere along the way, and they all get out then jack the tank, and its a very short drive to Cortez's garage see, really easy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kabbage Posted May 25, 2003 Share Posted May 25, 2003 They've never made it anywhere near the donut shop in any of my games, I always jack the tank way before. However, since there is a donut shop on the road they're taking I wouldn't be surprised, next time through I'll have to wait and see what happens. And if you get 100 packages and steal the Hunter then killing the army guys really isn't that hard. Of course, I had to shoot dead the men inside the tank to get them to come out (headless I might add). Normally I just drive up and park in front of the thing, jump in the tank and drive off running over soldiers and destroying trucks. And you have to park in front of the tank between it and the starting vehicles in my experience, otherwise I can never get IN the tank. [EDIT] Oh and yes Sir Yes Sir must be completed in order to get the phone call from Kent Paul, although none of Avery's jobs nor the assasination jobs need to be completed. AxER Posted May 25, 2003 Share Posted May 25, 2003 Actually if they continue up the road past the star fish island access bridge a wee ways, not far from the ice cream factory, theres the 24/7 donut shop but I'm doubtful they would stop for donuts. All I did on this mission, was rode a pcj 600 infront of the tank, hop off the bike and some guy on a speaker sais 'civilian vehicle must move' or something like that and then I just hijacked the tank and drove away. I was able to easily complete it on PS2 but I get gunned down very fast in the PC one. And the car I come in on starts on fire very quickly. Any suggestions? -Donald_Love- Posted May 25, 2003 Share Posted May 25, 2003 there's a few topics on this forum somewhere, but ill tell you an easy way to beat it... get a rocket launcher from the hooker inn express pool (near the airport) or tier 2 (?) weapon code and a colt python (30 hidden packages or tier 2/3 weapon cheats). Take a helicopter to malibu and accept the mission. now fly and land down the road from the junk yard entrance. blast the guards with the rocket launcher from where you landed, and go inside. now run like hell towards to hangar, shooting everybody you see with the colt python (1 shot kill). run to lance, and then kill the rest of the survivors outside - make sure you hit the sniper on the crane, cause he'll take out lance in 1-3 shots. find a car and drive lance to the hospital, making sure not to get hit too much by the four comets diaz sends after you. The easiest ways to do this are to take the trashmaster, or get back to your helicopter. if you can't do either, just take the sentinel from the side of the hangar lance was being held in. really not that hard... or just use the bulletproof admiral from guardian angel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well one time I brought a tank, another time I drove aroudn on a PCJ 600 shooting them as I drove through the junkyard til the damn thing caught on fire. A third... .308 sniper with plenty of ammunition took them all out before they were able to get close enough to hit me. The damn tank vanished when I picked up Lance though, DAMMIT! Tried it once with a Hunter and they shot it down pretty quick, damn thing is awfully vulnerable to small arms fire. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
