jevolutionCL
I've been playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Definitive Edition (PC) for a few hours these days and I have certain feelings. Nostalgia for what San Andreas represents, the fact that I played it on the first console I had in my childhood (PS2), which I enjoyed to this day. With an exquisite soundtrack, characters that are never forgotten, advanced systems for their time that not even games like Cyberpunk can recreate, among other things, they make San Andreas something special in the history of video games, until Grove Street Games and Rockstar they spoiled everything. Hate, the fact that they have removed things, bugs, censorship, an incomplete remastering. The things that made San Andreas special have taken it away, I have come to think that even with mods this will not be pleasant. Yes, the graphics give another atmosphere, but if we put all the bad things I said above, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Definitive Edition sucks, I don't know what they think, maybe I'm exaggerating. Anyway, I will leave the images that I took during these days while I was playing. Spoiler BilalKurd and Banana
Lioshenka
I think DE is good for the screenshots, but the actual process of playing it is a combination of badly designed misjoined items. Haven't played it though, but I'm sure everyone will agree. I sort of hoped it would be decent until the moment I saw Chiliad from LS on one of the screenshots. triks and BilalKurd
triks
One of the things I'm struggle to adapt to is the new in-vehicle camera controls. They are finicky and make driving an absolute chore. The almost immediate auto-recentering in III and VC are the worst, but in San Andreas it doesn't fare much better as the camera snaps back to the default 'behind-the-car' view too quickly. Another badly implemented feature is the Vehicle Camera Height setting, where you can choose between either a 'High' or 'Low' camera angle; the huge problem I have is that the low camera angle seems far too high to be named "Low" and is better off being described as "Normal" or "Default." For example, when driving a taller vehicle like the Boxville or Ambulance, (or even just a generic civilian car like the Glenwood for that matter,) the "Low" camera is positioned close to the roof looking down on the trunk, rather than being behind the trunk/bumper looking up towards the roof... This means your view of the vehicle is essentially halved when using the Close or Default third-person views, and you can only see the whole vehicle if you use the "Far Away" third-person view (which, in my opinion, defeats the entire purpose of sitting low and close to the vehicle.) Sorry for the rant, but these two downgrades irk me something serious. Edited November 18, 2021 by triks Grammar BilalKurd
