awanderers1877 Posted November 16, 2021 Share Posted November 16, 2021 Hi, You've probably seen loads of videos about this on Youtube; this new god mode glitch that appeared a couple of days ago. It just adds up to the huge list of glitches the game already had (off radar / invisible ect...). Funily, as broken as RDO PVP already was, PvP was my main source of motivation to play the game. I'm not an avid competitive player, I just like a bit of challenge and the incredible aesthetics of RDO (map, weapons, clothes) made the whole thing enjoyable. The occasional wagon / shine delivery was basically to sustain my tonic consumption. I encountered a griefer using this mode as recently as yesterday, and beside the absolute mental state one must be in to think "let's god mode in an RP non competitive cow boy game", I just feel this glitch could be the final nail in the coffin for the PvP aspect of this game. All what will remain will be crews of tryhard fighting each other god mode. Does it need any kind of outfit? Can you lock onto the players? Is it a real god mode where it's impossible to kill then? If you can kill them do they keep the mode after they die? As mentionned it's god mode, you can lock on the player who has it activated but he won't be taking any damages and is impossible to kill. Hopefully people do the same cause encountering those kind of people is a pain in the dick, I was only able to deal with them with the help of my PvP group tl;dr is: if someone attacks you and you realize they're using god mode, just parley with them and report immediately. No Homing Posted November 23, 2021 Share Posted November 23, 2021 I'm actually suprised it took this long for a GM glitch to be found in this game. Then again, this isn't GTAO. Apparently it's possible to kill someone in GM, I randomly found a video about it. But it involves grappling and executing them with a shotgun so not likely to happen I guess. I always seem to get taken out of defensive mode after I do a bounty or mission and there is always some douche nugget that wants to take a cheap shot. RDO is not GTA and I have zero interest in pvp with this game. I just want to make bank so I can have nice things. I also hate horse killers. Had some ass hat kill my biscuit and I took that pretty hard. I love animals, especially my horses. I did gift him a few spicy explosive rounds as payback. But spicy bullets aren't cheap. I'd rather do my dance as they waste their time and money trying to kill me when I am invincible and point and laugh at them before I hog tie em and ride off to go about my business... DrKrankenstein Posted December 6, 2021 Share Posted December 6, 2021 got a notification yesterday bout a player bounty, a whopping 25 dollars, click accept, it was a lvl 3 in godmode, off the radar, and you couldn't lock on, when you free aimed nothing happened, he ofcourse could lock on to anyone.mind you this was ps4. parley didn't help, he'd just ran me over with the horse and knock me out defensive. off the radar was the worst part, they just run up on you. they can tackle you, you can't tackle them. so. since reporting does jack all, i traced his ip, and did some stuff. just wanted to continue fishing. 78 lil red express 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
