studiox
Hi, On the homepage and in the manual it states that you could use a steeringwheel with GTA3-VC. I have a Thrustmaster and theres even a link to their homepage in the readme.txt. However I cant get the damh thing to work. Did Rockstar withdraw the support for Steeringwheel ? On of the reasons why I love MAFIA is that it has great support for Steeringwheel. Im woundering if I could sue Rockstar for lying about the game features or do I just miss something ? Ben E Gas
everyone wants to sue. i had a lot of trouble getting my gamepad working. i finally did. it still needs a little tweaking though. Maybe you can't have both the gamepad and wheel hooked up at the same time. good luck with the wheel.
Talus
It appears as if the steering wheel support for GTA:VC was dropped. I'm bummed because I cannot use my wheel either
Fyvie
I have the Force Feedback racing wheel from Guillemot. It's possible to program a buttons to accelerate & brake, no support for the pedals. The steering axis almost works but VC has such a huge unadjustable deadzone that it's almost unplayable. Is steering wheel support gonna be patched in? If not they should really remove it from there website. At least it gives me the option to return the game after playing it to death for a week
BenMillard
GTA3 supports steering wheel, but because it's just a direct translation from the resistor in the wheel to the angle of the wheels, you get massive dead zones. If you have an old wheel like I have, which use a logarithmic resistor, then the steering actually ends up with the deadzone off-centre. Not ideal, because without the big deadzone you could actually drive the cars round quite well.
