It's back, baby!

Immediately went home at lunch to download the latest updates then played a few missions in GTA SA.

Some people, particularly newcomers don't like the Classic Lighting because it makes them look like a PS2 game, which is the point.

But, I love it considering it compliments some of the flaws of the remasters, the Draw Distance being the biggest of these flaws, then the outdated animations. It makes the game look like a proper 4K/HDR PS2 game, and not just some upscaled crap with pixelated textures.

I had some nostalgic moments boating by the Marina north of San Fierro. Even though I played the PC versions of the GTA Trilogy games,  (so, I got used to having max Draw Distance, resolution/textures, and 60fps) the modern lighting just looks way off. Kinda like some guy modded GTA V and put 3D-era models and animations into it. Or, the inverse, a heavily-modded GTA SA.

I've been having a blast replaying GTA SA and waiting to get a call from Toreno and just enjoy the scenery around his ranch. It's one of the few spots I frequent in the game back when I had it heavily modded.

I played the Netflix version of san Andreas and the others these versions are pretty solid imo though I do think removing some the songs particularly in San Andreas is a loss though that probably won't matter to anyone playing the trilogy for the first time

But people say that version is terrible.

Haven't played that or the 360 version but considering those versions were also made by Grove Street games that's enough make me not want to play them
