DarkVegas57
I know there was a mod to add all deleted songs and the classic PS2 look, feel, and atmosphere to the trilogy on PC. Is that mod still available in spite of mods being taken down by T2? If yes, how can one proceed? Nothing against the definitive edition but I'd just like to play "my" GTA trilogy, the one I loved as a kid.
Wheatley
There's different tools for each game, most of the changes where made to San Andreas. For 3 and Vice City, you'll just need SilentPatch and WideScreen fixes. For San Andreas, you can use this handy San Andreas Downgrader which will downgrade your Steam copy to 1.0 and also restore deleted songs. It also comes with options for SilentPatch, PS2 Graphics, Controller support, Widescreen support and more. As always, take back ups of your games if you're using Steam or otherwise before proceeding and always double check the instructions. Alastair Smyth
Thanks for linking to that Downgrader. I am currently in the process myself of giving modding the Steam versions a go on PC, solely because I have not been able to get the original CDs to run anymore on either Win7 or 10. Kind of shooting for the best of both worlds here and not have to deal with PS2 loading times, frame rate and pop up issues, but still get all of the nostalgia otherwise. You could always give the Definitive Edition Project a go (https://www.definitive-edition-project.com/), which fixes a lot of bugs that came with the PC ports of each game and revives a lot of removed content and songs. This was started long before Rockstar's own definitive edition and I'm not sure if it'll survive without being blasted with a Take2 shutdown but it works with the steam version and it's very safe. They should probably change the name to Restoration Edition or something. Rotary and Ivan1997GTA

2psah
I'm thrilled to see what modders are going to do to the TDE.
Consulexe
Definitive Edition project has a packs that includes mods and everything good from other versions. I also change the FPS limit to 60 through FramerateVigilante and Limit Adjuster. I also remove SACarCam and Classic Axis (from 3 and VC) so that the gameplay is exactly like the original. https://www.definitive-edition-project.com/files NightmanCometh96
