squidiskool
Hello, I want to get into GTA SA vehicle modding despite never playing the game. Is there any sort of save state where you can test out vehicle mods and you don’t have to worry about the story? Dragomazing
ZAZ
1.) In actual fact i would say, download a savegame. But meanwhile is it difficult, because of several game versions. 2.) It's also possible, to pass the intro and the first mission. Then you can make a savegame. Now install script mods, especially Cleo plugin to can run carspawner, tuning scripts, ect.. It requires asi loader (vorbisFile.dll and vorbisHooked.dll) Plugins or advanced script mods are coming as asi files these three are highly recommanded: cleo.asi SilentPatchSA.asi modloader.asi The cleo plugin supports scripting of scm script files There are tons of cleo scripts around the web, which just needs to be placed inside the cleo folder carspawner PimpmyCar Car Saloon NRaces SAVE-256-Cars+Tuning Custom_Vehicle_Names Or other asi mods like Tuning Mod 3.) you can install a main script mod The files main.scm and script.img inside game directory\data\script contain the action scripts like missions and the side features This stripped main doesn't contain story mission, but it let you have all the side feature But savegames, made by original main.scm are not compatible Asi mods and cleo mods are always working independ of main.scm Maybe it is insteressting for you to write a simple cleo script that install some parked car generators Don't forget to make backup copies before you change anything Also, read Modding GTA San Andreas for Beginner's different game versions need different effort to make the game moddable squidiskool and Dragomazing 2 CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial

You can also start first with mods that not requires installing any other programs or mod tools. With this mod you can modify almost any vehicles in tuning garages, and you just need to replace two files. https://www.gtainside.com/en/sanandreas/mods/171711-all-vehicles-are-tunable/ Here you can see how that looks in the game: squidiskool
