ayrtonkee
Hey guys, let me start by listing my specs: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3080 AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT 32 GB RAM 3440x1440 Now, the problem with all 3 of the games is that the in-game performance is terrible for my specs. I'm hitting max 20 FPS in every in-game scene. Cutscenes are all smooth, but once the game start rendering things in the game world, the performance drops a lot. Lowering the graphics settings doesn't seem to work, as everything looks exactly the same and the FPS stays around 18. I feel like my pc doesn't really like the Trilogy. The games take quite a while to start, and sometimes they refuse to start at all. Is this a common bug within the PC community, or am I the only one experiencing this? Da_Lurker
Maybe you have a conflict with the double CCX of the Ryzen 3900 XT? Try playing with "game mode enable" (just google, how to enable game mode on AMD 3000). It will limit your CPU to just 6 Cores/12 threads but in a single CCX, and it might solve your problem. Although, you shouldn't have to.
BetterCallAV
+1 this, running on rtx 3070, 1080p, Ultra, getting 40-45 fps. Unoptimized garbage. Thanks Unreal Engine 4. Thanks Rockstar. Refunding this crap.
SquoniX
That's odd, I have an R9 280X with an i7 4790, I get 45 FPS at absolute max settings. Had to dial down 3-4 to high to get 58-62 FPS. NVM: Spoke too soon, getting 30 FPS at night. Edited November 12, 2021 by SquoniX zakkaz

I'll test the game this evening with a GTX 970 and let you know. SquoniX

It all goes to 35 FPS at night with cars anyway, so why bother? lol zakkaz

SquoniX
Just now, zakkaz said: I thought you got fps dropping, so sorry ahah Just gonna assume that the physics will break if I go above 30 FPS. I hate the camera tho, doesn't feel like I am in control. zakkaz
ronnieosullivan876
A slow computer is likely because you have too many programs running. This takes up a lot of processing power and impacts performance and speed. There are two ways to fix this: firstly, decreasing the number of programs running, and secondly, increasing your computers memory and processing power.
