Nice that even tho they dont have 2x on act1 and act2 at least we do still get 500k bonus for doing all 3, besides that not the worst week i guess, but not a great one either.

2) If I activate Doomsday's Act 3, will the pay stay double after this events week until I complete it?

With the amount of time spent doing preps, setups, and the endless dying with randumbs.  No way.  Maybe I'll hop around to find a Act 1 or 2 Finale just for the livery, but that's about it.

I've done act 1 and act 2 finales before I know a plan as the helicopter team I got banned on PS4 but have restarted also as your setup isn't that robot one I can do most of them or the one that goes dark not my fault I can't do them my friends were sh*t at them so I often never learnt a way to do them apart from the robots remain covered but any Act 1 or Act 2 finales will happily help with don't have a Mic but don't need one as I know what I have to do. Rather than get in the Heli straight way I drive to the Beach get a jetski wait for boat to blow up pick you up take you to the car then get in Heli then you can shoot them whilst I fly to Hangar

Shoot, so I never bothered to do the Doomsday Heist. I've literally only done the Paramedic setup. So what do you guys think is the best strategy for me to get the Atomic livery? Should I just lobby hop and hope for a finale?

Your best bet is to search for act2 finale as it's the easiest one of the three or go for act1 finale because while it's challenging it can be done quickly with first try or a few attempts. Just don't waste time on act3, it's very hard even with competent team and most likely impossible with randoms, you would just try again and again before someone leaves and all of that was for nothing.

Do act 1 or 2 finale, if you see Server Farm or that Stromberg setup... do those and take the chance the host invites you. It's quicker than hopping for a finale

Double on all finales would have been nice, but ill take it. Got already lucky with the final act. Second Sultan is welcome, good car. Overall, not so excellent week. Would have appreciated Akula or Khanjali on discounts.

I figured I'd jump in on call and see what happens. Got an act 3 first up, rank 275, 195, and a 56 plus me of course. Passed first time, got the elite and the game put me back into my invite only lobby.

If you're well versed at PVE / a high level & like a (sometimes somewhat unfair) challenge, Act3 is actually the highlight of the whole DDH (anybody saying otherwise doesn't actually enjoy the challenge it offers, wich is fair, but i strongly disagree with "Act3 is bad") if you just want to get it over with quickly, find an Act2 finale trough quick join as that can be done in like 12 minutes.

The act III finale was never hard but definetly not made for 2 players in mind, the hacking part has to be the actual highlight and the only thing giving problems.

 

You need at least 2 players on defense while the hacker is hacking, the large room has the smell of a room where you are hidden from many angles but one.

 

And the hacker is never targeted while on the hacking screen, the 2 finales I did with just 1 teammate was basically 'hide in a corner while the other do everything' , this is luck based by the way, guards may still move towards you and will happily open fire the 0.1 second you stop hacking.

It is bad if 99% of players you meet f*cking die.

 

If I could solo it, I'd probably only die at the finale but that's to be expected. But you have people dropping like flies and sh*t. Act 1 and 2 are the proper challenge

I never took their names, probably should have looking back, lol (I do have my lad or other buddies to try bringing in had I not had any joy on call or with randoms before the weekend), but just had a spare hour and didn't fancy starting one tonight and thought I'd take a punt.

 

Blew my mind really, I'll take the good fortune as it's definitely not always like that. Although these bonuses/unlocks seem to bring out the keen players. No bad thing. But yeah, PS4/5 here.

Thank you for the suggestions. Having no luck with quick job. Getting mostly escort and rescue Agent 14/ULP setups.

 

Alternatively, I can purchase the prep equipment for Act 1 but I'll still have to do the setups. How doable are they with randoms?

Only pay for the Deluxo. Paying for the other two is insane

Call an ambulance, drive it in. BOOM! Done in ten seconds.

Akula's easy too

Deluxo cost 90k but considering the finale payout and the time driving FOUR Deluxo takes, it's worth paying it and doing something else like a quick Import/Export or something.

 

The Mourg isn't that bad, place yourself on the team infiltrating as the other team has less enemies. Deluxo is easy enough. And the final setup, that one's a bit tricky but I just stuck by my teammate and we each hacked a computer on the same side. That way I was next to him the entire time and ate armor/snacks to protect him

Then switched to Hard once we reached finale, homie died in the basement but it was no big since you respawn right there. BOOM, done!

 

It's certainly less stressful and time consuming than playing the act 2 setups will be, some involve splitting up(Rescue ULP) and one teammate is usually all you'll get.... apart from finales, but I just kicked everyone out save for a 140(The guy who helped didn't show up and I just wanted to get back to San Andreas). No idea why the Doomsday setups never go on double....

I would argue that rapid fire aimbot enemies that could drain your health bar instantly are not a challenge. Also no matter how good one  player can be, if rest of the team is not that skillful or full of randoms you gonna end up in a cycle of repeat due to them dying all the time. And when you get to hacking sequence even if you are good at PVE you need good hacker who won't waste time. While playing heists with randoms is not good thing most of the times and on some occasions it can be done, in this case you gotta be lucky to wind up with good bunch of them, having good team is essential to finish this without headache and wasting hours.
