The intros are video files and so those filters are baked in the videos.

Try to change slot name, you have MI_SM_uzi. Name it MI_uzi

In UEViewer i can see uasset with texture, but in game no, is white, i try to change name, i'll be in touch

@TheJustSavior exactly like i said, in UE is textured, in game still white, i changed name where you showed me. I give up!

Found out the game load mods even if they're in subfolders instead of the main ~mods one ; Might be helpful for those who heavily mod their games :)

Edit 2: ok. My method above this message didn't work since the game is not using that folder when i try to delete it while the game is running i just checked.

No, the usual .pak files you DL on Nexus or MixMods :)

I still cannot figure out how to replace sounds. I'm trying to replace the colt/basic pistol in VC. I believe I've followed the steps here: https://forum.mixmods.com.br/f49-tutoriais/t7203-gta-de-trocar-sons

 

I still get the default sound. There is 2 uassets "Left" and " Right" with different sounds. None sound like the in game basic pistol.

 

Folder structure: https://prnt.sc/201v42b

The only files in the .pak are left and right .uasset and .uexp.

I replaced a weapon sound earlier by changing the corresponding S_0XX.ogg with a different one in Audio/SFX/GENRL/WEAPONS, shouldn't be that different with the VC version ? :dozing:

 

Edit : Didnt saw the pics ; But if none of these audios you found sounds like the ingame pistol then it shouldnt be that file you need to change :dontgetit:

Original intros are low quality. So i guess the only option is to somehow find HQ versions of original intros and replace them.

Yea there is one that is a tad bit better for SA on YT, you could just DL it as an .mp4 then rename the file but I dont think that would allow you to reupload it somewhere else :/

read automatically, because we use EXISTING ingame material, material instance which we assign on model it just reference

you can use material to see how texture looking in engine, but for game we need to use material instance

This is awesome Thirteen, thank you! Saves flawlessly. However, as far as I can tell, the save slot adjustment doesn't seem to work on my end on III DE, no matter what I set to in the ini, it sticks to slot 6.

So now i cook content and copy content folder, including Mi files?

yes you can 🙂 not including MI file, its need to be deleted AFTER you cook files

SA assets in Vice City are everywhere, I mean how do you even do that? Was it intentional or mistake?
