The way how icons get downscaled to 1080p resolution is still weird, it looks like the icons are in worse quality but the PNG itself is HD. Maybe i'll add a light black outline to the less recognizable symbols.
Would be nice to find out how to change the actual selection wheel so we can replace the circle with something better.

I was just trying to do a simple retexture lol wanted to make Claude's hair a bit darker cause I feel it's too bright but everytime I finish my pak and put it in the mods folder it doesn't show. Hey! Is there any other better way to extract all the files without FModel? I tried using PAK Extractor but it doesn't work anymore with the latest version. FModel is way too slow extracting all the files.

To unpack:

 

1. Install the games in a non "Program Files" directory.

 

2. Give the folder/s Full Control in Properties > Security.

 

3. Open the launcher > settings > pick a game > command line argument and type in -gta-unpak

 

4. Start your game of choice, it will have a black screen, just let it finish and it will close then check your install folder.

 

For working with uassets: https://forum.mixmods.com.br/f49-tutoriais/t7189-gta-de-indice-de-tutoriais

 

You'll need a web page translator.

you totally should! But if you would, i would recommend adding songs that would fit into the game, and not all of a sudden adding huge artists.

 

Adding this would be perfect, simply adding additional music from the same album of the radio stations such as Rise FM adding the rest of the songs from generation records that didnt make the game

I already did 1 radio mod for Double Cleff, I might do Rise FM next.

I will probably add mostly songs that I did from my own alternative radio mix from YouTube: 

(p.s I just need to mix it better than i did here lol)

Thanks! Yeah, I'm probably gonna release it in a couple days. Right now I'm working on a classic jeans texture and a better normal map for his hawaiian shirt. I also made a classic hair texture, but still have a mixed feelings about it. But model still gonna look somewhat bad, I think they gave Tommy a neckbeard because there's some strange lighting glitch near his neck. And they've litteraly nerfed his ass, lol, It's basically nonexisting now.

Yup, that's the correct texture. Have you cooked your materials through unreal engine and packed it to pak?

maybe instead of mixing it like it was in gta 3 with the nighclub try mixing it like lcs like a proper radio station

Were you the one who made the alternative Game FM mix with 50 Cent, Outkast, and Bad Meets Evil + the GTA 3 music but uncensored and uncut? The video seems to be gone now so I can't find out.

First i extract it in uncompressed tga format with umodel, then edit it in cs6, save it as png, then cook it in unreal engine, then Unreal Projects\MyProject3\Saved\Cooked\WindowsNoEditor\MyProject3\Content get the files in that location unrealpak\Face-Mod\Game\ViceCity\Characters\Tommy\export_01 and paste them here but it does not appear in the game

Make sure it's the same name as in game files (T_CSplaySkin_BC).

 

After you cooked your files through uengine, copy them (without any shader trash files like ShaderArchive-Global-PCD3D_SM5.ushaderbytecode) and put into your custom mod folder with the same folder structure as in game files (e.g. C:\MyCoolMod\Gameface\Content\ViceCity\Characters\Tommy\export_01)

 

When pak your mod with UnrealPak:

Good:

UnrealPak-With-Compression.bat C:\MyCoolMod\

Bad:

UnrealPak-With-Compression.bat C:\MyCoolMod\something\something\

 

And I recomend you to use AssetEditor, it's much more easier to use for packing then command prompt. And naming is important too. You need your pack name to be something like ###_Modname_P (E.g. 777_supercoolmod_P.pak). As I know, numbers in front don't really matter.

 

Then you need to put your pak into \Gameface\Content\Paks\~mods.

Nah, I made another Game FM Mix but I would never have added Outkast or 50 Cent, that's way too mainstream.

Can someone make a mod to add the hitboxes back on the boxes in the "Gun Runner" mission for Phil? Im trying to 100% vice city but that is still not fixed and makes the mission impossible to complete
