Few things regarding modding the trilogy.

1. Has anyone made a mod which increases the height limit for aircraft for VC DE?
2. Has anyone figured out how to fix the radio skipping/not playing issues when restoring the tracks to VC DE?

3. Any chance that the III Aircraft mod could get ported over to III DE?

4. It would be super cool if we had volumetric clouds that were 3D and could be flown through. I know Unreal Engine supports this. Any chance this could get ported to all 3 games?

5. I feel like GTA VC could get even more love. It'd be sweet if we could port the remastered buildings from the Vice Cry mod and merge them into VC DE's map. It'd definitely give the game a more modern look as you'd have the smoothed out roads, proper shaders, but also buildings with more geometry.

Is there a mod which fixes the burning vehicles issue? Like in the original it was smoking white, then greyish/black smoke before it began to burn and you had enough time to get out of the car and escape before the vehicle exploded.

In the definitive edition you see some white smoke (barely visible imo) and then all of a sudden it can begin to burn and if you don't get out of the car immediately you will explode and you have no chance to escape.

So is there a mod which fixes this issue and makes it like it was in the original. First white, then dark smoke then burning with enough time to escape safely.

 

Also is there a mod which stops the street lamps from disappearing into the ground whenever you hit them? Shouldn't they be visible on the street for some time before disappearing? Now they just fall through the world as if there wasn't any ground.

 

What's this weird invisible stuff on the streets?

I keep my fingers crossed that this will indeed be a huge update with lots of fixes and improvements to this Trilogy.

I really hope they keep working on this relentlessly (until EVERYTHING is fixed!) to make this the release it deserves to be for the legacy of these games and the gamers and passionate GTA players around the world!

It's probably unlikely to happen but I would love a replay mission feature so that we can replay our favorite missions after finishing the game and try out all different kinds of methods

Totally agreed on the car explosions. That drives me nuts!

 

I can answer your last question; those are supposed to be pieces of tire tread, from trucks that had blowouts. I'm not a fan of them, they look more detailed than the tires used on the actual cars and trucks in the game.

Hello everyone! I have been working on the textures of Tommy vercetti's face, and doing tests in blender I noticed that the model looks better if its size is scaled to make it thinner, it looks good but I don't know how to import this modified model correctly, anyone who can help me? I just need to know how to import the model to test it. I am attaching photos of the model with the textures I have been working on and a photo of my failed attempt to place the model in the game.

Hey all, does anyone know the files that control the water colour on the big map in GTA III? I have found which ones control the radar but it doesn't seem to affect the map on the pause screen. Trying to re-colour it

I asked myself the question as the three rotten remaster runs on the same graphics engine would it be possible to transfer the motorcycles and plane and helicopter in GTA III, VC?
