Hi everyone, i have a problem with a texture, called SM_parkbench, i edited 3D Model using blender, but i have a problem, i have done all steps correctly, but when i'm going to make PAK with edited Model 3D, jump in to the game, no crashes, but the bench look likes, texture jump out, and now is completly white.. what is my mistake? What i have to do when i edit Model 3D and make sure textures are read? I'm waiting for answers, as soon possible

  • Tamanho menor do sol e da lua / brilho
  • Diminuição da intensidade das estrelas à noite
  • Luz de ponto removida dos marcadores de missão

Eu não tenho muito tempo para trabalhar nisso desde que meu projeto gtav modding ocupa todo o meu tempo, então eu decidi lançar isso em seu estado atual. Estarei livre durante a primeira semana de dezembro e tentarei mod esses jogos um pouco mais. Eu estou definitivamente interessado em ajustar os tons em GTA III para ser mais como a versão original de modo que eventualmente virá.

In version V.02 there is a problem while it rains, there is a transparent circle, inside this circle everything runs normally, all the effects etc, but outside it there is no rain effect, activate the code "AUIFRVQS" and see for yourself.. .
Is there any way to fix this? Because for me this would be the definitive graphic MOD for GTA SADE, if there was no such problem. Can anyone fix this, or advise on how it could be fixed?

I can't speak for everyone, but I stopped creating/updating GTA DE mods until the game is dead (no more updates etc). As long as we have to use HEX editors to change some things in the game, it's really frustrating to do it every time a new update is released. I left my game at version 1.03 so I can continue to use all mods.

Hello everyone,

 

I'm trying to replace a car. I managed to replace the model and it even drives in a game, however I stuck with wheel rigging. It deforms wrong while I try to rotate

This is a Blender issue, but I don't understand what I do wrong. How to rig wheels correctly? 

 

Update:

I understood how to fix the problem. It was a weight painting problem and I needed to click 'normalize all' in the weights menu

Are you going to release it publicly? If so, what is the model? Because car mods are kind of scarce.

Is there an easy-to-install mod which restores all the original songs from Vice City? I found this one https://www.nexusmods.com/grandtheftautothetrilogy/mods/361?tab=posts but it seems like it isn't working anymore since the latest update, according to the comments?

 

How do you f*cking use the PS4 controller in these Definitive Editions? It won't detect it even though I added the .exe file as a non-Steam game to my library. Still only detects keyboard controls?

Anyone can help?

I'm almost finished the car mod. 

 

Right now I'm trying to make lights shine at night. If I replace 'MI_vehiclelights128' lights have only texture and don't shine

As I understood game has special material for shining at night '_ON'. But, I need to understand how to make the game change it dynamically.

As Shuubaru said before, we can't change vehicle's collisions so far. This is the main problem with car mods.

 

I also noticed that It's not possible to make custom working lights for cars. We can't add new textures, we can only replace the original texture. This texture is used by other vehicles in a game, so it isn't the solution.

 

Moreover, you should use sockets or you lose some functions of the vehicles.

 

All replaced vehicles have one common bug: when the vehicles explode, the wheels remain in place. I think we should try to replace a wheel mesh and shouldn't add wheels to the vehicle's mesh. Idn how to do it right now, but I hope it's possible.

I haven't looked in here for a little while now, how are things in the modding scene? Anything major?

Modders also ported the skateboarding mod

Also MixMods published lot of fixes, converted RoSA to DE and etc. Also Zeneric published HD objects(lot better than default DE) around the city. Couple russian-speak modders including me trying to replace car followed by tutorial that Hereweagainbro did. That's pretty much it. I waited months and hoped that GSG will fix at least common bugs but there is no hope, so i guess modders will have fix the game all by himselfs.

don't forget the mobile version will be releasing soon along with more fixes

Guess they will release in 2023? Maybe they will make big patch for PC, but honestly i don't think they will. Time will show 

Few things regarding modding the trilogy.

1. Has anyone made a mod which increases the height limit for aircraft for VC DE?
2. Has anyone figured out how to fix the radio skipping/not playing issues when restoring the tracks to VC DE?

3. Any chance that the III Aircraft mod could get ported over to III DE?

4. It would be super cool if we had volumetric clouds that were 3D and could be flown through. I know Unreal Engine supports this. Any chance this could get ported to all 3 games?

5. I feel like GTA VC could get even more love. It'd be sweet if we could port the remastered buildings from the Vice Cry mod and merge them into VC DE's map. It'd definitely give the game a more modern look as you'd have the smoothed out roads, proper shaders, but also buildings with more geometry.
