A/B comparisons that make DE look good?

I feel like we've seen some massively cherry-picked A/B screenshot comparisons that make the DE look really bad.

But most aspects of the game look good to me, particularly the environments and lighting and overall look.

Are there any A/B comparisons that are more positive and show a clear graphical 'upgrade'?

GSG and R* simply used CDPR-style marketing on their disposal to hide their laziness and ineptness on the product. Remember that they've never shown any gameplay trailer before this, just like what CDPR did last year.

In all honesty, you want a good A/B that makes the DE versions look good then just get screenshots of the buildings or foliage, etc, basically anything that's not the bad stuff.

I don't even think the DE was a quality release but this is such a stretch

CDPR teased Cyberpunk 8 years before its release, touted it as the game of the century by telling everyone that it was going to be some mind blowing player driven experience with dozens of different endings, made promises of entire systems that they later scrapped (car and house customization, character customization), and literally put features in the 40 minute gameplay trailer, which CDPR DID in fact release, that they ended up scrapping later.

And while DE is full of bugs, Cyberpunk 2077 was literally UNPLAYABLE on last gen consoles and I'm pretty sure it could make your systems crash.

The trilogy was announced like three weeks before its release and the screenshots pretty much told you everything, the game looks EXACTLY as they advertised it.

It wasn't a good release but to compare it to Cyberpunk 2077 is nothing short of exaggerating

Can we have a thread for massively cherry-picked A/B screenshots comparisons that make the DE look kinda good?"

The answer is, nah probably not. That seems like a loot of work.

Yeah, Cyberpunk comparisons are a joke.
Rockstar didn't even announce this until there was less than a month left to release (This in itself is a sign of their lack of care for this whole thing but that's a whole other topic)

A big part of this is how people made their own expectations based on leaks and all the Rockstar Dundee talk (which had no legitimate source behind it)

I think the environments (especially in the countryside) look really good and I think most people do agree on that. Unfortunately when you're looking at them you're also seeing the cartoony character models that clash with them badly and things like the draw distance being ridiculously increased and no fog so you can see the whole map at once though. It's rare there's a time where there's not bad things on the screen so the good things (of which there are quite a lot to be fair) are overlooked.

I actually didn't participate in all the discussions of blocky hands, ugly characters, and whatnot. Because honestly, these were always ugly PS2 games. I never played GTA III because Misty looked hot. All the women were clunky looking and not pretty at all. Hands and facial expressions were awful. But this was the PS2, a console that could barely handle a full GTA game. So what the characters look like didn't mean anything to me, and nothing I saw in any of the comparisons of DE to the original was a turn off.

I also think the game definitely has some graphical improvements. Not as good as anything the map modders were able to accomplish, but I think the screens and vids I saw were pretty nice.

Edit: I also agree that the draw distance is way too high now.
