Only fog and I just took a random screenshot, rest of the mods are irrelevant in the sense they improve things like the basketball, skip intros, upscaled paint jobs for vehicles, retextured car textures for the upscaled ones in DE, etc.

I've done the impossible and completed Vigilante in this version with 100% weapon accuracy for enemies (includes cops and random gang members on the street). It took me over 3 hours lol.

Xbox: Series X, performance mode. 

 

Really enjoying these definitive editions. I'm really early on in SA and got all tags and made a few nice bets. I'm set up for a cash and weapons as well as being able to recruit max homies. I'm going to try take my homies on as many story missions as possible! My CJ started off mad fat. I accidently made him into a land whale. I had to hit the gym to burn it off. I actually don't like a superbuff CJ so, I just keep his fat low. Any gains is all natural from climbing or whatever. My CJ is didn't represent Grove St. colours until he got all the tags up. Now, I feel like I earned GSF colours again. So much so, I can recruit a full car of gang members to follow me! Got my first million+ and I'm buying up property all over the 'hood. Gonna keep posting my progress here or in another thread.

this is in the original game too, it's simply there for photo opportunity when you're far away; my guess is they either wanted to make it invisible and forgot or they just wanted to use it for the beta photo opportunity we never had. this type of checkpoints is seen in some missions in vc and iii too, but they're invisible, only in sa it's visible because rockstar north is special, to say the least.

The Definitively not trilogy is on sale for $30. I'm planning to get it. DEFINITIVELY. I've played VC DE, but I never came close to finishing GTA 3. I also miss GTA SA a lot and GTA V just can't replicate the memories.

If you're playing the OG version of you recruit a grove homie when you go to meet her it actually works, Carl gets out of the driver's seat and gets in and Michelle gets in, then the homie gets abandoned instead of CJ. I got a homie and went to the airport and flew him to Fierro lol. I was bored so I wondered what would happen if I tried taking a homie to a date with Michelle. Apparently it's a work around for the driving glitch.

My other favorite quote from the NPC in the orange and black is "Ever been to Sa'mo? SA'MO CRACK!" At least I'm pretty sure he's the one who says it. It's been a long while since I've heard that line.
