I just noticed on top of the star being wrong the "R" isn't correct either. Look at the bottom that connects to the star it isn't even at the same angle and it is overall to straight. This is how GSG treats R*'s legacy.

Rockstar is ruining their own legacy tbh. Not handling the remasters of some of their most iconic games and instead giving them to amateur devs is just inexcusable. f*ck them

On Vice City, the camera is kinda bugged both on foot and on cars. For example, if you are driving straight, and you want to look around slowly, the game is 'fighting' your input trying to make it straight. And it makes the camera choppy. Same thing on foot.

On San Andreas is waaaaaay smoother. Haven't installed GTA 3 yet.

Act like you know on Fever 105 is instrumental only. :(

 

Rear light also go off when you get into cars at night.

After successfully completing GTA III's story and being under the impression that it's actually not that horrendous. I mean, it's far from good, there's still a lot to improve and every cutscene made me laugh because all the characters squint and look like Sims, I thought, hmm okay, let's do Vice City next and yeah, I had to force quit the game after almost 1 hour of playtime.

 

I spent the first 20 minutes tweaking the settings, first changing the graphics to ultra because everything was set to low by default, then changing all the key bindings because GTA V's controls suck and then starting the game.

 

Something that struck me immediately after the introduction scene was how terrible it is to control the character, it's like GTA IV but 10 times worse. In vanilla GTA VC you can run, switch weapons and press F to enter a vehicle, all at the same time. But in DE not only you have input lag that is just a headache, no, it often ignores input and you are constantly running around the vehicle to find the right spot to actually get in.

All I wanted to do was pick up the hammer and get in the cheetah, it ignored my input and then I used the faggio instead.

The frame rate inside the North Point Mall is bad most of the time on the base PS4 (Imgur killed the frame rate even more, but the slowdown are still visible).

Not a fan of the brightness and colour in some weather conditions. Is there anyway to make it look more like the original in the settings?

Cheesy Vaginas

Anyone notice a pink glow on the road off in the near distance? It's always there but disappears as you keep driving toward it. The way ground textures work in general is really wacky. Like there's sh*t on the ground when you're a few feet away but disappears when you get closer.

I played for roughly 17hrs now, gone through all missions, assets, vigilante with a hunter (which caused some serious destruction, it was way easier to aim accurately in the old game) and drove around in a tank for 20 minutes. Got me the "I'm famous", "Bull in a china shop" and "catch me if you can" trophys in one go, yet my rating is currently 1855. If I kept going at that pace, it would take me another 4500hrs. I'm all for having some achievements being harder to get than others, but this one is just way off. 100% completion gets you 100(G) (Xbox), the cannoli one only 35 but it will take more than 5 times as long and there's 0 variety in it. Just endless grinding.

They nerfed pretty much every mission that was even remotely difficult (more time on demolition man, more fuel in the dodo, only have to destroy half the windows in the mall, cubans linger around the dock forever in bombs away…) but then they decided this was a good idea? I don't get it.

I love the part where you drive your car trough something and It's stuck in between your car... 

 

I've also seen bugs very similar to the ones that Cyberpunk 2077 has.. Cars that is just rendered being halfway trough the ground.. (you could almost use that as a ramp :sadkek:) Not sure if this was in the original game as well.

Are you serious lol? I did not notice that haha. 

 

I would suggest everyone refund the f*ck out of this game. I cannot see any reason to keep it as it stands.. The performance is also not great. 

I have to say tho that the characters that I have seen in VC was OK in my opinion but that is not the main issue. There is game breaking issues like Gun runners where you are not able to complete it on PC. The creates you are suppose to "break" is just staying on the ground and you can't do sh*t with them.

 

Also the most important part: they removed the game from the launcher!! What the hell where they thinking. I'm not going to buy any games from their launcher ever again. What a joke this is.

The way that looks makes me think that they tried to find the original font, failed miserably, picked on that looks kind of similar if you squint from 30ft away, then realised the f looked nothing alike and bodged it poorly with a b.

my take is that theyve outsourced that to indian sweatshop and i'd assume most of them dont speak english properly so you have sh*t like "welcom to vice city" or "top bun"

why is that?

you can see the grove street games team on their webpage as a "small team" but then if you get to the actual ending credits you see huge amount of indian names

That's probably exactly what's going on here with all of the incorrect text and typos; If English isn't the native language, errors like this are inevitable. Rockstar themselves should've made these remasters instead of whatever GTA V E&E is supposed to be; Maybe then the "Top Bun" van wouldn't be a thing. :cringekek:

Do they behave just like the original Vice City? I prefer how dumb the VCPD was compared to the GTA V Terminator robot LSPD and other more modern police in GTA games. Standing on a balcony in that purchasable house in Vice Point and blowing up the endless cop cars was fun, as was watching them stupidly drive into an explosive tank until the helicopter chips away enough of its health. That's what I did 99% of the time when playing Vice City, messing with the funny VCPD, so I kinda like them.

They still have time limits for vigilante/paramedic/firefighter/etc and also the Demolition Man mission. Not sure why they didn't remove the time limit, it just ruins the missions imo

As I was reading through these complaints, this was exactly what I was thinking. Whomever worked on these did not have much of an understanding of the English language. It appears GSG farmed a substantial amount of the work to a foreign country.
