Why is the site excruciatingly slow?

This is a bit weird because the website as a whole is fine when im logged out, everything loads and runs as normal, but when im logged in everything almost grinds to a halt, scrolling posts becomes laggy and very slow, like it's crashing and struggling to load (but the whole page has finished loading?), it takes forever to actually comment, but as of this post, it seems like it only happens on pages with more than 2-3 images  so i can browse and post in the Support section fine but the GTA Series/Trilogy sections are basically un-usable

 

any suggestions?

(ive tried deleting cookies and website data, still no luck)

This is a known problem, for whatever reason the software the forum uses runs very badly for some Apple users (see here, here and here for previous threads), and unfortunately the problem seems to stem from the creators of the forum software themselves and nothing that we're able to do, and as of yet no users have been able to pinpoint why some are getting it and others aren't.

Oh yeah, you're right, guess i'll have to use Chrome if I want to participate in a thread
