Even with gamepad connected, there is no such thing.

They do looks nice in screenshots when they're not moving but as soon as you see those cave man animations along with those pepsi can audios and the Simpsons charterers it becomes a turn off somehow.

I'm really impressed with what they've added to the environments.

 

There's a lot more variation among the gang members too. Cubans are a mix of Vice City + VCS.

From what I saw so far, it is +/- along the lines of what I expected. Clouds and weather was a positive surprise.

What bugged me most was not the bugs(*duh*), but the framerate drop with multiple explosions in busy areas. If on PS5 you get that, what about PS4, switch or a PC with minimum required specs?

 

Was expecting much better performance.

If reviewers were on a payroll there's more money and more clout in outing said publisher for trying to bribe them. With so many investigative style journalists in the industry these days it would be difficult for a giant publisher such as Take-Two to get away with it it too.

 

I expect overall the reviews to be positive but not outrageous or anything, it seems like overall it's a decent enough remaster with good stuff and some meh stuff, but it's not a full blown remake and as a result still shows its age in areas.

They have put a lot of effort into the environment, you can find parallax interiors in a lot of places.

The voice over audio for San Andreas is unbelievably bad, i'm amazed Rockstar didn't archive WAVs of the original copies and use them for this remaster.

Personal bias, reviewer blinded by the hype, yada yada. Reviewers can waffle some sh*te too, it's why taking them as gospel has long been silly.

 

Common sense is to find reviewers that have similar taste and expectations as you and see what they think, not blindly look at scores.

 

Saying that, average ratings on sites like OpenCritic tend to be a decent consensus of a games quality however the absolute best review system out there right now are Steam user reviews.

You're underestimating Take-Two, I remember some websites refused to report about the OpenIV situation and even the latest modding situation for fear of being blacklisted by Take-Two, according to sources I know on various websites Take-Two are strict with their blacklist and if you don't follow their guidelines on what's allowed to be reported and what's not allowed then you're at risk, and with Take-Two it covers a wide range, not just Rockstar.

I understand this but if Rockstar would shell enough money, they would be able to get them, I'm sure. Also, how come MJ's family doesn't want his music in GTA ? It was done when Vice City came out a very long time ago anyway so I don't see how that would change, the only explanation I would find is that video games became more controversial. Also, looking what the Trilogy is from all the leaked footage and screenshots, maybe it's for the best they saved money from them soundtracks.
