Y'all see that Rinimos thing? That alone just lowered my hype considerably. GSG is a god damn embarrassment for that. If they can't even get that right then I can only imagine what else they butchered

I really want to give GSG the benefit of the doubt, but stuff like this makes it awfully hard for me to.

This is something I would never normally say but Rockstar should have hired some modders or hardcore fans to overview the work GSG were doing. If Rockstar can't be bothered to look for these mistakes, we know the fans would. I don't understand how can they be messing things like this up. How hard is it to copy the original TV model?

I give people crap for less upscaling mistakes in the modding section, as a person who's been doing upscales for GTA things for a while this is just sad. Like I said in the other thread, QA is next to non-existant for these ports.

You would think they would be in communication with consultants at Rockstar to clear up any issues like this if they're unsure. Really mind-boggling that Rockstar don't seem to be concerned about fact-checking this remaster, and that GSG is just guessing things like some amateur mod job. I kinda feel bad for GSG, they're clearly doing their best, but Rockstar has become like a grandparent with dementia, they just don't seem to be 'all there' these days. Bizarre they would even outsource this project.

Honestly the more mistakes like this and the lack of gameplay has pretty much confirmed this is going to be a rush job of a release. I hope I'm wrong but this stuff is raising red flags left and right.

Honestly guys, almost everything seen as negative so far got somewhat of a pass from me. Things I was willing to overlook or even get used to. I was EXTREMELY hyped to finally have this in my hands soon. All of my previous posts show this. A minor nitpick here and there. But again, things I could overlook.

 

This, however, legitimately makes me sad. This just shows a complete lack of care and love which is everything I feared. It's something they blatantly decided to show in pre-release footage, which makes the oversight an even bigger red flag. Not a single higher up at Rockstar truly seems to give a damn about this release if something as blatant as this goes unnoticed.

 

GSG should be embarrassed of this abomination and Rockstar should be ashamed to trust such an incompetent group of people to bring this to the GTA community that have gotten them to where they are today.
