Wtf Even Happened In My Friend Activity?

Having an Issue with a friend activity. Went to go drinking with roman. After the drunk stage ended, I went to get a cab, but Roman was nowhere to be found, yet there was no thumbs down nor you left your friend behind message. The map showed all the usual missions, but there are no mission markers when I try to go to them. I even tried saving my game but it stated "You can't save when in a mission". However, there are no missions I can access now, and no matter how many times I suicide, nothing changes. 

 

No Mission Marker Despite Gerry Mcrear's mission area being shown on the map. Also, where the hell is fatty Roman?!?Unable to save game due to being on a "Mission."

Unable to call Packie nor other friends for any activities.

 

 

 

Help would be appreciated as I can not progress in the game now. I even tried restarting and it still came up with no solutions. Only other save I have is all the way back in the mission where you can choose to Kill or Spare this Ivan guy.

Can't you just reload your last save/autosave? If it wouldn't let you save after it happened then surely wherever you last saved should be fine? Or do you mostly only use autosave and it did somehow autosave after it?

 

I had either this or something similar when I went out with Kate once, she was gone but couldn't end the date, do missions or save. I just reloaded my last save and it was fine.

Yeah autosave f'ed it up for me :/. Is there any other solution or would I have to just continue from the Ivan the not so terrible save.

So if you load that autosave is it still like that?

 

If so maybe someone more technically minded than me knows a solution, sorry

Ah well. Ty for ur help anyways. Hopefully someone as you said who is more experienced with this comes on to potentially solve the issue. If not will just reload the other autosave. Damn it fatty Roman. Had to fall through the world but not be considered abandoned

have you tried killing Niko? Maybe get a wanted level to scare roman?

As stated b4 suicided many times. I even got a 5 star wanted level cuz i was so unsuccesful. 

Ok theres an outage on rockstars end hopefully it courrpts the game to prev save b4 I took roman out

I remember once having a similar issue where I tried to go find Marty Boldenow, a Most Wanted guy but when I approached his place, nothing happened and the yellow marker remained. It remained also when I killed myself and I couldn't start any mission. Luckily though I did not save the game with this.

 

My suggestion would be to somehow unf*ck the savegame using a trainer to "kill" any potential mission that might be going on in the background.

Yeah I even tried doing that and it won't work. keeps saying "No current Mission." I also just noticed that the game still thinks niko is drunk as whenever I call for cabs he keeps using the drunken lines. Even tried using the trainer to force start other friend missions and even missions involving roman which doesn't work. Oh, and it turns out I actually have a save from before the roman incident on the same mission I decided to take him out for drinks after, but it keeps crashing whenever I try to load it. In fact, I can't even load any other saves nor start a new game as the game just crashes.
