Anyway, I'm here to review the mission above, No Happy Ending, by PatrickW and Dutchy3010. This mission was made by the two creators of DYOM, so no wonder it is a great mission! The object placement was great and the story was simple but enjoyable! The shootouts could have been more exciting, but they were acceptable. I give this mission an 8 out of 10. M316 Posted November 9, 2021 Share Posted November 9, 2021 (edited) Ok so i remember i reviewed this mission before in MOTW 184 but since i am not gonna bother replaying it (sorry stardust XD) i am just gonna copy paste my review here: Spoiler Gameplay: Not that much to say, the shooting and fighting part was easy, not that much challenege given the length of the mission but i liked the interactions with the folks around town. Average Cutscenes & dialogue: As seen, you came a long way from your initial missions, and it didnt sounds robotic so that's plus. However, there is this one thing that i will get to in a sec that made me downgrade all of that. Average Overall coherence: Well here is your mission issue that impacted the overall score and subscores: Story. It wasnt that exciting to be honest, i found it hard to keep myself exciting for it even though you did really good. Also your issue is still objective numbers,you need to up it up a bit if you want more recognition, to be honest it reminds me of zeko's NIFLEHEIM. While this doesnt compare to it, but the issue with both were stories that downgraded the overall fun for me. Average mission And now if i were to recommend one of my missions, bit of a tough choice if u ask me but for starters i would choose H-31, probably one of my personal favorites (and for the love of god listen to its instructions and dont just spam kill everyone) Lemme know what you think folks (or folk in this case). Especially addons used, to put guns on the tables, etc - I liked it so much, gives amazing vibe and best of all - people loved it. And this one: which you can download here: https://dyom.gtagames.nl/show/70949 I called it "The best mission i ever played with explosions" - it's just so epic how author put it together at once - but one thing that bothered me were the dialogs, but i heard that author fixed this mission so many times that his dedication is soo amazing. What do you think about them? Would like to hear different opinions, for what it seems GTAinside people and GTAforums people are always different in terms of decisions.
